BFME2 (ROTWK) for me was the best RTS game made (and I have played warcraft, starcraft, age of empires, empire earth, cossacks, command and conquear games plus many more RTS game's). EA games tend to have awfull client and server capacities. When I click in BFME (all of the BFME games) it takes atleast 2-3 secs before the command is initiated. Alot of strategy is lost when you can't control your army immediatly. It's more of a luck based game then it requires thinking. You can't really see what someone is making until he's made it. So it's just: I go for mass goblins from the start. Elf thinks: I go for Cavalry. Goblin dead.

Lord of the Rings Conquest was fucked up a huge disappointment for me. They need to make Battle for Middle Earth 3 for PS3 and 360 to save the crap games so far that was made based off of Lord of the Rings.

BFME II is an awesome RTS and a beautiful game, but EA only made one patch for multiplayer and did nothing about cheating. So thousands of players abandoned multiplayer.
Compare that to Starcraft, which still had a huge online community 10+ years after release. 'Cause Blizz actually banned people for cheating, issued patches, etc.

They gave players a year with BFME II, and another year or so after the Witch King expansion, and then they took the servers down. It's like they were saying, "No more fun after one year, buy another EA game." Their devs even admitted on official forums that they couldn't spare resources to patch the game bc all the teams had been pulled to other projects.

no, they live of plunder and murder, a good example is in The Hobbit, where bilbo is attacked and captured by orcs in the misty mountains, besides, total peace is rare in middle earth

@TheCiahast I borought the game from a friend of mine, problem is I can't get it running under windows 7 64 bit whether on my laptop nor on my desktop strangly the problem is known but none of the solutins I found googeling helpt and my friend having win 7 64bit to with his computer it works (and it's not due to my lack of hardware desktop is top of the line and laptop both having a hd 5870 is have a vid of my lapatop uploaded)

no, they live of plunder and murder, a good example is in The Hobbit, where bilbo is attacked and captured by orcs in the misty mountains, besides, total peace is rare in middle earth
