A great many Rock musician knows that Country Music songwriters are better, more emotive, etc. They have a lot of competition on their hands. Hell no. In Country Music is requires singing talent- and I dont mean this guy. The guitar riffs in country are extremely hard to play - just as hard as Rock if not more. Then you got banjo, pedal steel players. ANYONE can Rap. Rap is NOISE. It requires ZERO talent. My dad who has no musical gifting at all can Rap. All Rap is talking over a beat. Country Music requires extremely good songwriting and vocal skills.

I don't know why people hate it so much...but then again I like all music.
I grew up listening to this stuff when my dad drove me around, so I've grown to like it. Unfortunately, it's one of the most underrated music styles out there. But, that's only my opinion. Time to listen to some Run-D.M.C.
