caps are failing in the Scan and Sustain voltage supplies maybe have to be readjusted to match the panels specs. otherwise you get something called "misfire" which is the "sparklies"
atleast you can actually see the screen lol i bought a vizio and when it get a dark backround like if u watch a movie that doesent have any light scenes your fucked lol my screen turns gray when that hapens
its all between control board, y sus board and z sus board... when its only red pixaletion the best choise is to calibrate the y sus board.. happens alot with Lg on plasma...
Hopefully the problem is already been fixed by now.Tthe control board 6871QCHXXXX needs Software upgrading or by replacing the board having the latest Software installed.
I started to pay attention to this particular problem and i found out a LOT of tv's with this same problem, mine was still covered by the warranty so they had to fix it.
Accordind to what they told me they had to replace several components to correct the issue.
