this heli can be had for about $100 rtf with the lipo battery upgrade, for $100 it cant' be beat, I've been flying mine for about a month now, only thing I've broke was the flybar.
FP (any FP, not just E-sky, walkera comes to mind) is great for startes and still fun whe u get good (I was told:) ). Forward can be fast, see some of my latest videos, but you can slow it down way easier than the "real helis" and sure crashing is not as painful - both $ wise and time wise to fix it.
Certainly consider getting an FP to learn on, you cannot go wong between the savings if using an FP and a flight sim to learn on!
Wow, you went from an airhogs to a Mark3? I'd say that's pretty awesome. I went from an airhogs reflex to a coaxal lamaV4. And I was nervous about going to the Mark 3. Although I do fly in the living room and my heli has CCW and TBE to counter-act after replacing every part except the 4 in 1. (CCW= counter clockwise rotation TBE= toilet bowl effect "flys in big circles with no input")
FMS is a free simulator that comes with some Esky heli's.
My wife tells me I do the tounge thing a lot too; obviously during flying I am so nervous I forget that ;)
As for my 2 channel, it was actually a syma dragnofly, so larger and less responsive than airhogs ;)
So your HB had TBE? Hmm.. interesting! On the lama I had that, turned out to be an adjustment on the link from the top rotor head to the flybar. did not notice this issue on the HB, but then again, I never release the controls for more than a sec or 2..
so money wise is it a good heli?? c/b

That was pretty good for your first 4ch heli flight =D Did you practiced on FMS?
Cris02212 4 years ago
Thx ;)
I did not know of FMS yet, but I did play with my Syma 2ch and the 2 channel styrofoam ones (AirHogs), maybe that helped?
