If you had to classify your style of music, what would you call it? I stumbled upon your videos here on youtube and I am an instant fan. I love the gypsy/renaissance sound. It is melodic, relaxing, hypnotic and intoxicating. I don't want to come off as creepy, but I could listen/stare at you playing for hours on end.

Instructional videos....any chance you have something to say about getting over how much it sucks to get over the first hurdle of not sucking and moving from one position on the fret board to another ....I have pianists hands [i think] but can't read notation and play @ the same time. 8(
@temporaldisplacement Yes, I have a lot to say about that. It's tough to learn as an adult when you are well aware of how much you are "sucking" and sounding bad at first. Little kids just have no idea- their parents tell them they are great so they are encouraged onward. And then they might grow up, forget about that phase and become an impatient violin teacher. Hang in there. I will chat about it in on of the upcoming videos.
@melodieduvent I also have transcribed a simple folky version of the Gael sheet music available for free on my blog. It won't let me type the address out here but the url is in the video. It's a really easy song once you get the hang of the ornamentation. That instructional video really is coming soon :)
