Very nice video! But I wonder how muslims see you there, as most women are hijabis. Honestly, I would not feel comfortable there wearing a tanktop! Are you regarded as fellow-Palestinians...or as annoying western 'invaders'? Because I read the number of christians has diminished significantly...any tensions??
@ThisTimeOfGrace In the middle east you will see alot of women who are dressed like her everywhere even muslims.. have you ever been to the Middle east?
@Stralinism Israel is a terrorist state responsible for the death of 100,000s of Palestinian lives, displacement of millions of Palestinians, imprisoning of 10,000s of Palestinians, besieging 1.5 million people, unemploying 100,000s of Palestinians, Placing more than 1000 checkpoint, building 100s of israeli settlements, stealing 1000s of Palestinian acres, stealing Palestinian water reservoirs, discriminating against Palestinian israelis, ........ I HOPE YOU REALIZE THAT.
@bestplaya001 Arab Israelis have a better quality of life than most of the Middle East Arabs. Just compare how Arab women live in Israel and how they live in other Arab countries.
I would like to visit Palestine, but I do not want the Israeli stamp on my passport which will keep me from visiting many other Arab/Muslim states. Hopefully one day the Palestinians will be given control over their borders.
I have to say...I enjoyed watching your video a great deal! I have been in the states for over 30 years, and this video brought me to home and re-connected me where the fast lane life in U.S , remove you and forces a disconnection, a disconnection, we must all avoid to stay in touch with our Palestinian soul. Thanks a 1,000,000!
@FromAtomsMade Maha is Christian, she is not an ex-Muslim. You have to know that Arab christians (Palestinians, Syrians, Lebanese, Egyptians and Iraqi) are among the first christians in the world. They just never converted to Islam.
i think, if you people dress the same way the local people, you may enjoy more your trip. but unfortunately you people look alien in your own country.
Very interesting. Reminds me of Amman, similar architecure, it brought back some happy memories. The falafel! The khubz! The shawarma! Thanks for posting.
As a non-Arab observer I'm rather fascinated by the dynamics of Palestinian life here on display, especially as it relates to the Christian sectors of Ramallah. The city center seems cosmopolitan enough, but as an ex-Muslim person concerned by the rise of authoritarian outfits like Hamas could you shed some light on the conditions of life under which minorities live in Palestinian territories? Does Hamas seek to forcibly impose Shariah? Do Christians worry about their ideological aims?
@eeinay2010 Yasser Arafat was the longest chapter in our life, his name was a name of new Palestine that rose from ashes of the Nakba (diaspora) to the embers of resistance and up to the idea of independent state. In every one of us, there is some of Yasser Arafat
Thanks for the video. I think that the dates on the plaque read 1929-2004 - do Palestinians usually use the common era calendar for the years or Anno Hegira?
Wow! Maybe I will go to a wedding in Ramallah in April or May..very beautiful. you are a very beautiful and loveable lady Maha! Can you tell me what the name of the songs used are? Maybe I can purchase them online. thanks!!!

I'll be honest, to me it doesn't look like they're suffering, especially not like in Africa or South Asia.
By the way, Yasser Arafat was a terrorist who is responsible for the death of hundreds of Israelis, I hope you realize that.
