@thabboy russian speed limits = the one on the sign + 60 kph. that is if you don't wanna pay bribes or fines. any faster and you get banned. in theory. what actually happens is you pay... the amount is defined by the car you drive and/or your negotiation skills.

Сделан этот тунель по уебски если едешь в сторону нижегородки и волгоградки в крайнем правом, есть вероятность поймать на капот каку-нибудь стоящую в правом ряду сломашку, изгиб такой, что видимость именно в этом ряду маленькая. И такая же херня в обратном направлении только в левом ряду.

It wasnt the tunnel of death at that time because it wasnt winter.There is a river running over the tunnel and water leaks at some points. When the temperature reaches 0°C like it does in winter in Russia, the road freezes and becomes as slippery as ice

I looked this up and learned that there is a reason for the accidents. Water sometomes leaks into the tunnel and the temperature in there can get very cold. So the water sometimes freezes and akes the roads slippery. But of couse, its not a tunnel of death. People just need to drive more slowely!

This time it *wasn't* as dangerous because there wasn't any black ice. See, these other videos show car crashes in that tunnel, but they are all due to black ice.
