  • wont it take much longer like 2-4 weeks to ferment instead of 3-5 days?

  • @mrcmoes i guess if you live somewhere cold that is possible, but this goes very quick and its the easiest beer ive made yet. you should be able to see, hear, and even taste the fermentation. when its done it will not be so sweet and it will have gone completely flat if u wait too long making it necessary to add a bit of white sugar to the bottle to charge the carbonation process. you can control the alcohol content as you wish.

  • @mrcmoes i like to brew in a container that has a pour spout at the bottom so i can taste it as the days go by. the natural carbonation is very nice and its great to experience the changes of the brew

  • As a suggestion, instead of putting a tube into a glass of water for an airlock, try using a little vodka instead of water to insure nothing contaminates the brew.

  • so does the non alcoholic ginger ale taste like the ginger ale you would buy from the store

  • even better. i use more ginger than it calls for in the recipe,

  • sweet is it good on your stomach when not feeling well like other ginger ale and how is the beer is it really sweet

  • its like this.... the longer you let it brew.. the more sugar is converted into alchohol. so a shorter brew time will make it sweeter and less alchoholic.

great for stomach and blood circulation

  • @gunnyXII it is sweet yes, the longer you let it ferment, the more sugars are converted into alcohol making it melow out a bit

  • explosions are common... must remeber to put the lid on loosely or build an airlock... just some cork and tubing going into a glass of water,... you want no air to get in, but have a way for it to escape. personaly, the 1st few days, if im just using a lid.. i burp that baby a few times a day. just uncrew the lid very quickly to let the buildup out. i had a bit of explosion a few weeks ago because the jug was too full. helps to leave some air space at the top. very rewarding proccess.

  • more on the Tau ... if yew see the T as a roof of a home ... the ... a ... a small child... and the .. u as a cup that catches the run-off of the rain... the cup has a foot on the back end that holds it upright... thus, my cup runneth over.. and the roof of the T protects the child... a ... from getting chilled. ......see? .. the letters represent the organic... but the jewbee has twisted the order out of the language... it is 'drop down turn around fetch a palin water..''

  • bin there dunne that two.. ahahah... Reason is really SEAson... seasoning is the 'ring' of flavour... the favour given for the balance achieved. Minerva.. the Seamother... or Weals of Haven dispenses her bountee in stages. I will serve no wine beFour its Thyme... The Grape Vine holds its heart in the root.. it is a cyclic and perennial (perineum) dispenser ... wine made from a plant whose root is its heart dispenses ANGer.. the angst that the Mother Feels when her gifts are misused.

  • Had to fav this one as well, hence the fact that I love to try new things involving my approach to happiness! :D
