Great preformance bya young man. The beginning is identical to buk sing's dai sup gi but then it changes after the double tiger claws...Anyhow its all good.
Incredible. On the comment about how the form lacks fighting application, you obviously lack the knowledge about the form and style to intellectually comment about the fighting techniques in the form. Training to fight is more than punching and kicking heavy bags or pads, more than learning take downs and submission moves, and more than MMA. If you had knowledge you would know this goes beyond MMA with techniques that are illegal to use in fights sanctioned by a boxing commission.
buk sing, hung sing are the 2 families of CLF,for those with neg views,i found it funny how CLF kicked ass in sparring or forms, and by the way,CLF does ground fighting too!
i love traditional kung fu, this guy have nice stances, speed, and jin. really appreciate this video, this kid is unbeliveable... being able to do what he do might take me about 5 to 10 years of hard practice !! contradulation to him!!

This isn't even fair. Damn chinese are such naturals in KF... must be those stubby little arms and legs. Anyway, awesome form, kids gonna be a machine when hes older.
Great footwork. The kicks weren't really whip like enough for me though.
Also the the handwork could of been sharper, or shown maybe a bit more of power. Also I think the noises could of been more sharp, using the stomache and chest muscles to make them.
But then again I'm a Hung Gar guy, and so I guess I'm used to different stuff, but CLF is sorta similar.

Ppl ALWAYS use this music at this sort of events... WHY and where is it from?? I know them from the Once upon a time in China movies...
paddotk 1 year ago
It's the Wong Fei Hung theme, which has become synonymous with kung fu and training... kinda like how we have the Rocky Theme..... ;)
seventhbystander 1 year ago
@seventhbystander Ok, thanks. But is it from a movie or something or is it like a Chinese folk theme?

This appears to be the Futsan Hung sing version of Ping kuen.

He is really good, but you must remember he is still a
CHILD. He is growing everyday and his balance and coordination change coorespondingly. So.. how could he measure up to your standards?
