I don't see why we all can't get along... The members of Pink Floyd are probably proud that they have bands cover their tunes. And I personally have a very eclectic range of musics that I listen to. Yes, Pink Floyd is my favorite, but that does not take away from bands that lead up to them, and does not take away from whatever bands are influenced by them. Good music is good music.

I totally agree with you, there are no many like them - only talented band today I know is Muse, don't judge me if you don't like them but they're very talented and sound better live then on studio version. They are actually alternative rock band , and I listen to them ten years so am not some kid from twilight or whatever.

David is an absolute master! This solo and the solo from Comfortably Numb are by far the two best in rock history. No other group, even Nightwish, come close to the masterful works of David, Rick and Nick.

I don't really see why you need an explanation as to how someone can listen to Pink Floyd and Nightwish. It's called having an eclectic taste. I, too, listen to Pink Floyd and Nightwish. I like many types of music and am not inhibited from enjoying music from other genres simply because I like a certain genre.
