  • trop beau....

  • I love this song, and this scene gets me teared up, I can relate to this animated car film over many other live-action movies since you actually care about the characters and can humanize with them. It says alot about this film compared to the other films which are horribly acted with crap stories.

  • I drove through Tucumcari NM on route 66 and it reminded me of this part in the movie.

  • whos that person from 0:56 to 0:58 .

  • is there any HD version of this? I want to take a screenshot of the scenery ;)

  • i am not abel to view this !!!!!!!

  • So sad..

  • How can you be so creative? It must be a gift. Please continue with your greatness.

  • i live in a small town i feel there pain

  • THUMBS UP for ROUTE 66 !!

  • I wonder who is the singer of the song? anyone know?

  • ill always cry when i hear this song havin to whatch ur town fade and die infronte of u is the most painful thing ever

  • This song always gets me teary eye and this movie is the shit!!!! I saw it like a thousand times ^_^ I went to see Cars 2 and is fabulous.I cant wait to the release of the DVD.

  • this problem is the same in all the world... I'm from Spain and I saw how my town is, day by day, less imoprtant because people don't stop in it.

    entalto Aragon, l'enrestida continua

  • If I was President of the United States I would have the Interstate Highway System torn down so that Route 66 can return to it's former glory.

  • It's thanks to thanks to the 34th President of the United States Dwight D. Eisenhower that Route 66 got bypassed he signed the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1956 wich ment that the Interstate Highway System could be built so it's because of him that a piece of American history is in pieces.

  • this made me cry when i watched the film lol

  • yes. ang ganda talaga.

  • I grew up in a town much like this in the fifties. The town is still there, but it is only a vestige - a reflective ghost of its past. The cars were probably smarter than some of the people there, including me, (ha!) but we had fun, laughed, cried, played, and experienced the very best of what this country once had to offer. I am so thankful to have lived during this time. We were happy, and we actually knew we were...we were optimistic, excited to be Americans, and we loved our lives.

  • Mater is blue? wow

  • I just discovered this song when I was playing to U-sing it ! A lot of children told me it is a great movie but I've never seen it. Now I want to watch CARS ! :DD

    It's a beautiful song .

Forgive my poor english ,I'm French :S .

  • Pixar's still got it and if it plucks the heart strings we have a winner :) Though man I grow bored of people constantly bitching about the new Disney and saying bring back the classics. The reason why newer Disney films don't have the same feel as the old one's is because of the age gap as a lot of these whiners saw what they call classics when they were kids; of course it's gonna be harder to connect with newer ones from being teens or adults.....

  • Continued: Disney Films are aimed at kids at the end of the day and the reality is teens and adults will not connect with them in the same way as the kids. So the kids can easily adapt to both classics and new ones with no worries of any kind. Some whiners just need to move on :)

  • song name please ?

  • @EgoKiivi It's in the Title, "Our Town"

  • ah shit. I meant "change." Hehe, sorry : p

  • The good old Disney movies are still the best. Nothing can replace them. I mean I really love Cars and some of the other new Disney movies but it isn't the same. : x

One day I would like to see the Route 66 too. : )

But it's just like he sings: " Time goes by, time brings changes, you chance too. "

Time is really going by : x

  • Pause at this place to see people - 0:56

  • i love this song i like it it's so beautiful song

  • Is that the whole collection? That would cost a lot

  • disney isnt disney, anymore. disney is much different, then it was before. its hard to find a reason, it changed this wayyyy. we miss it. nothin can cheer us up. because it was the greatest progam ever, until now. MAKE THIS INTO A SONG

  • God bless the Mother Road!!! What a tragedy!!! I feel the pain of these people!!!

I would like to one day cross the legendary U.S. Route 66!!! Excuse my English, I'm Quebecer!!!

  • والله هالفلم جنااااااااان

  • I grew up on the classic Disney movies. While they don't make them like they used to anymore, they throw in a few moments like these in all the Pixar movies that remind me just why I loved them so much as a kid.

  • this songs makes me sad when i think about my family in mexico cause i miss them soooo much

  • i love this song

  • como se llama la cancion??

  • Great picture - looks like 3D!

  • This song reminds me on how our world turned out and used to be. :(

  • is this in the theater

  • @sunsshinegirlll no this film has been out for three years but cars 2 is comming out this year i not shure of the exact time but i think arround the summer time

  • My mother in-law is not trating me well, when I hear this song,I feel like my father raplaced my mother by that bitch. I'm gonna fuck her.

  • Conveniently enough this song was written by the same guy that wrote another song that also brought tears to people's eyes. Jessie's song from Toy Story 2. both songs were written by Randy Newman. As the Nostalgia Critic once said about Don Bluth and his sad movies, but this time I'm saying it about Randy Newman and his sad songs. Fuck you Mr. Newman! I might be able to take it but my therapy bills won't!!

  • this makes me think of how great of a city Detroit was back in the 50's and then how far no one cares outside of Michigan cares about it anymore and yet there are people who have great pride and love for Detroit, it makes me teary eyed when I think of the great Motor City

  • this makes me cry.... The people are wery bad, me arent like them.

  • this almost made me cry

  • funny movie i love the hippy van.

  • I wanna visit the towns listed in this movie's end credits. Who's with me? ;D

  • wow look at that high definition

  • Yep, I tend to catch the off interstate roads when I head to see my family, it's scenic to say the very least, but cost me in gas, which is gonna get worse I'm afraid. Many little towns suffered from it, but sometimes I prefer the smaller undeveloped areas, I really want to go back, I hate the metropolitan area I live

  • 0:57 - Get f*ck out you b*tch!

  • @Noobiscum sorry, missed the point there...

  • I was born back in '94, but even in my short existence, life was sure better back then

  • This film truely epitomizes how a film is made on script and plot and premise. honest, crisp, simple yet manages to evoke such emotions one may have not felt for real ppl and life we live in.. what a creation... humbled.. everytime i see this film it feels numb inside... as if it connects you once more to your true pure self.. stellar show!

  • Just about every Pixar film seems to have the ability to pluck the heart strings :) The disney classics on the other hand don't seem to effect me in the least anymore but Pixar's films still do. Jessies song in Toy Story 2 among other things really cut deep. Unlike Disney Pixar are not money hungry and will not make a sequel unless they can offer a solid story which is why Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3 were so successful :)

  • Pixar are in my opinion the greatest and most effiecient studio in the world. One sequel is chancy but they pulled off Two good ones :D And you can count on them to let a franchise rest when they know nothing more can be done which guarantees it to end in it's prime :)

  • ma non esiste la versione in italiano?

  • ma certo che e una bellissima canzone veramente una meravigliosa canzone a volte quando ascolto questa canzone mi fa piangere un po sei grande james taylor

  • I love this song. This is my son's favorite movie. I dont understand why people put dislikes on this video. If they aint happy they should keep it to themselves.

  • i love james taylor!!!

  • james taylor

  • my kids luv this too..specially the 5 yr old...i remember when we were watching this movie and at that part when "Sally" was explaining the effect of the interstate, my third son who was 10 at that time said, "mommy, Dad is in the interstate"....heartbreaking!!!..at the same time, i was astounded as I realize the depth of his analysis..,,my kids and i usually discuss the moral of movies we watch..gosh!!!..there will be nothing shallow with these kids..and i love that....

  • me gusta mucho esa cancion y mas por las escenas que pasan de cars ya tengo 25 años y todavia me gustan esas peliculas sera por el niño que llevamos dentro bueno esta triste pero me gusta saludos buena pelicula

  • to me this song means that there are things in this world that are amazing and great but ppl by pass them because they dont care for them but if you truly think theres something great then you will be the only one to see it

  • This song reminds me of what happened to Disney. The classic Disney characters (Mickey Mouse,Donald Duck,Goofy,etc...) were left behind and replaced by that Hannah Montana crap because it's what kids like nowadays.Every classic Disney fan knows what I'm talking about :(

  • @Random90sKid You've got that right. I own several of Disney's animation classics, and although it's wonderful to be able to see them, it hurts to think that the best days of Disney are over. If we don't get more people like Don Bluth who really understand the heart of family films, we may never see the charm, fun, and soul of the classics again. I hate the new stuff like Hannah Montana; give us The Fox and the Hound, Oliver & Company, The Lion King, etc.

  • @AstralDragoon boomerang shows them now

  • @sdgsdgsdgsd3 What's Boomerang?

  • @AstralDragoon its a cartoon channel that shows classic cartoons ie: Top Cat, the flintstones, the jetsons, you know the old school shows

  • @sdgsdgsdgsd3 Does it show movies too? I don't really watch TV shows.

  • @AstralDragoon it mainly shows old scooby doo films but the last time i watched boomerang was about 6-8 years ago

  • @AstralDragoon yea i know wat you mean i have all the disney classic's and i love them because there part of wat i grew up on and if you dont have great actors theres no heart to it

  • @Random90sKid yup i know grew up on those guys

  • @Random90sKid They made their way back to what they once were with Tangled

  • @Random90sKid i agreethose were best cartoons ever even here in Slovenia

  • @Random90sKid that's totally right. But I like Phineas and Ferb. haha

  • @Random90sKid wtf, they weren't replaced. The characters are still alive. That crap is what you call Disney Channel.

  • that right the classic disney characters are better then this disney channel now

    @Random90sKid

  • @Random90sKid

You're rignt, friend. We want the old Walt Disney Studios!

  • @Random90sKid

Yeah I understand, It's the same here in Italy, But I like also this one can't hide it, furtheremore when they're so romantic and go downdeep in Your feelings... We need to remind that we're not cause we breath... we need more and this food is so amaising for our souls...

    Isn't it?

Anyway it was a pleasure to read your comment RT from COMO Italy

  • @Random90sKid your absolutely right mate but whats even worse from what i think is that not only the characters are changing but also the stories and plots are completely different and thats also something that worth thinking about (btw i'm from germany hope my grammar is not too bad)

  • @Random90sKid good old times !

  • @Random90sKid sadly there only 13 good disney films i could think of going on right and those would be toy story 1,2,and 3,cars1,and 2,monsters inc, tangled, the incredibles, finding nemo, bug`s life,ratatouille,wall-e,and up and that`s it sadly

  • This really made me cry! T_T

  • This song is a doorway to powrful memories; it takes me back to the little towns in Wyo, MT where I grew up, what it was like there in the late 50's; on road trips in my Grandpa's 55 DeSoto Firedome with grandma, mom . dad and sis; it is true going back now to visit, its not the same; the people are all gone, with the landmarks that made it feel like home; sweet memories are always there; we can remember those times loved ones thankfulness that we even knew them, and had those times together.

  • Wish I could bring back "our town", nice anchor for wandering souls

  • Small towns are dying, and the current economy is just the final nail in the coffin. Oh may God have mercy on this country. God bless.

  • how come 79 mother fuckers didnt like this song? Mayb they're living a luxurious life, listening to KeSha, Justin Bieber, goin shopping or stuff like that. Or someone, somehow, miss-clicked the like button. Btw this songs make me wanna go rite back when i was little so i can change things in a right way, to make a better life

  • @EddieOJ168 simply ignore retarded ppl...it works for me...

  • When I lost my dad, there was nothing left for me in my town but I miss it. It was home and this song makes me cry thinking about it. I don't miss the people, they were bad but I still love my town and my river. Wish I could go back-but all that's there is my dad's grave and he's not there. Man it hurts so much!

  • I'm sorry for your loss. I can appreciate how you feel as I, too, long for the times spent in my hometown with my parents, who have been gone for years.

  • @flowrpowrlovechild You don't come from Balclutha do you :-(

Remeber he loved you for being you, i lost my dad at 14 and i realised as a father now i never really new him,so knowing my kids and remebering the laughs are important, not money or things .

Remeber him this way when and if you go back.

    Good luck.

    much,peace,much love.

    xx

  • @flowrpowrlovechild Damn.. that sucks. I feel your pain even though I'm not going through the same thing as you. But, it's time you move on..
