  • @ DikeEris - Actually, there is quite a bit on Eros. since we're on the classical stuff I would start with Plato's "Symposium" & "Phaedreus". I think I'd also recommend looking at Nietzsche as well.

  • The capacity for experiencing Beauty is one of the innate & objective capacities of the human Soul (unlike subjective & conditioned aspects of it).

    This innate level of the human Soul is a microcosm of the One: each & every possible ontological differentation ("Form") of the One is reflected in a corresponding capacity of the Soul.

    It's possible to experience Beauty because we do so through a capacity of the Soul which is ontologically equivalent to the Form of Beauty in the One . . .
