When Charice's album came out, I emailed Johnjay and Rich (their show is broadcasted over here in Phoenix) and told them about Charice. I'm pretty sure they were not yet introduced to who Charice was at that time because they never played her music or talked about her so I asked that they give her song Pyramid some airtime because it's radio-friendly. And wow, 6 weeks later, they are interviewing her!!

@dakkeltibuto4466 i think that's another talent of the Filipinos (almost all of us).. we can easily adopt accents.. british,american,australian accents.. etcetera.. maybe that's the reason why there are lots of call centers in the Philippines..

charice's english has improved,but one thing she should try to avoid is the "ahm"before she answers the question and being repetitive.

@beachdale I think you're expecting way too much from Charice. It's extremely difficult to avoid "aahs" and "emhs." Even seasoned public speakers and commentators cannot not avoid them. I wouldn't be surprised if you yourself will be just as bad in using them when put in the same situation. Charice is one insanely talented girl but she is not super girl. She's barely 18 for crying out loud.

Hey, nobody really expects a foreigner (Non American) like Charice to speak perfect English. In fact Celine Dion, when she first started in the US spoke only French and very little English.

@musicheals091 Seriously! I know, she has the best stories and the best answers for every question that they ask her! It was like this too when I watched her being interviewed by someone when she filmed her scene for the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie. She's really good at interviews (usually). I know her english isn't perfect but she is good at answering questions.
