  • their whole story is like a modern day fairytale... but an unfinished one. how it will end is the million dollar question.

  • I think they should release Flowerbed, but the complete song, with the parts that u can hear when Mark is speaking, and maybe avoid the 'electronic voice',I'm not saying the album version is bad,but I do want to hear the whole song,Jason does it very beautiful, and his voice suits it very well

  • Gary took Rob's side in the Eight letters' discussion :)

  • STUART PRICE, I LOVE THAT MAN <3 CONFESSIONS ON A DANCE FLOOR <3

  • Aw.. I got tears in my eyes when i saw Mark singing What Do You Want From Me. :(

  • In further defence of Rob, i've read interviews saying he's great to work with. His management is like family & say they have never had fights. Besides writers & producers he's also written songs with several band members (with credit) Fans that meet him say he's kind, warm &down to earth. Maybe not in the past, when he was suffering, hood up, trying to avoid fans in an effort to protect himself mentally-Oh well. There,,,i've done my duty as a good fan.I feel better.

  • I don't understand the requirement they have placed on each other to make their songs as if everyone wrote them. Other groups with multiple writers don't omit personal lyrics. Why make it so hard. If some band members are better at writing words, melodies or music they should get credit, not be stifled. Giving props to Jason, either he or someone should write more songs for him to sing, his voice is beautiful. I really love Flowerbed.

  • robbie seems like a very flawed individual, stubborn and selfish in his ways...

  • @Bak3dB3an by using "seems" i get that you haven't followed or aren't aware of Robs' history. He has had to struggle with the public openly stating he didn't orchestrate his solo career, write his own lyrics & melodies. Without Robs words, performance ability, talent, taste in music and individuality there would not be 56 million + albums sold of his.. His essence is all over his music no matter who he writes with. They all handled the discomfort ofJason walking away quite well.

  • Mark Owen you little beauty :3 <3

  • i just want to run and give mark a massive hug. he is only human, and after all we all make mistakes. love you mark.

  • MARK IS ONLY HUMAN....WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES AND HONESTLY ITS A BEATIFUL SONG AND SO PERSONAL-LOVE IT,FINALLY WE HAVE THE TRUE LADS AND NOT WHAT SOME MANAGER WANTED THEM TO BE!!!! U CAN TRUELY TELL IS NOT ABOUT THE FAME IS ABOUT THEM HAVING FUN MAKING MUSIC

  • What do you want from me it's so... I don't have the words... Poor Mark I love him so much! I don't care what he did, he's the best! and always will be! I hope he's fine now

  • this version of flowerbed is a bit different, seems extended.

  • POETRY GUYS

MARC OWEN seems here to be the POET

  • POETRY GUYS

  • i think this video is about LOOSING A FRIENDSHIP, and then FIND IT AGAIN.. after 14 years...

i wish they all 5 would sing such a simple song like "fly me to the moon" in a different sound RW is a an aquarius male// i had a husband an aquarius.. love him still since 8 years but he left me since like 6 years or so...... i do know an a freeloving aquarius could go crazy - because he doesnt know what he wants

  • i wish they all 5 would sing such a simple song like "fly me to the moon"

  • can't we all just love each other like TT do?:)

  • i love Mark

i dont care bout what he did

hes human and like every other human he makes mistakes

  • @LikkleFreakie same! couldn't have put it better myself! (:

  • Actually I kinda agree with Jason, or at least I understand his point of view. It's totally valid to say that this new album is personal 'cause is about all the guys experiences with the chaos that TT was in the 90's, and how they feel now being older, a little wiser and together again. So I think is correct to say that the songs should be about the feeling and thoughts of all, not just one. I agree with @Jasmanda2007 about Gary singing the song is a way to keep the lyrics as the was.

  • Lol I have watched this documentary about 3 times whole way through and about 6 times in bits jason and robbie argument and when robbie storms out = classic Love Jason love tt <3

  • I think the decision they made to have Gary sing eight letters was the right one. I took it as a basic love song at first listen - as Rob said - it can mean whatever you want it to mean. Gary taking lead vocal diffuses the argument that the song is about Rob - they both sing it beautifully IMHO

  • the real thing is that in the UK TT fans haven't all accepted robbie back in the band... that' s probably where all the their resentment comes from. But everywhere in EUrope and in the rest of the world Robbie's millions of fans love him as a solo artist.

    So the two worlds collide...

  • @FlamiStar *including jealousy. (sorry, i ran out of characters. i HATE youtube's limit!!!)

i also agree with you about the 2 worlds colliding. personally, for me, both sides have apologised, so it's all good, they're happy. but i'd still rather have TT as a 4 and robbie solo. i'm glad they're friends, but i still think they just do better as seperate acts. some people however, really genuinely can't get over the past, even though all they truely know is the media manipulation they've been fed

  • Woah, the first couple of minutes are AWKWARD! I love that these guys can be so honest with each other. Painfully honest.

  • Just not used to seeing Take That arguing like that! They're just being themselves tho. That's what matters :) xx ~Take That and partaaaaaay!~

  • Jason just tells it like it is. He's a real G. lol. At least he's not putting on a fake smile, or fake happiness. I like all 5 of Take That. Jason does keep it real tho.

  • does anyone think they could release robbie's version of eight letters as a b-side? i still INFINATELY preferr gary's, but it could be a nice idea to do like a kind of alternative album - maybe a live album or something - or even just b-sides where a different member will sing the track from the one on the album. i'd quite like to hear gary more on the flood aswell and a little more howard and jay. perhaps rob on what do you want from me? mark and rob seem to really gell together though

  • tbh i don't really understand what the issue is here with the robbie fans. he came to the table with some damn quality lyrics there, but he as a member of TT. if this were a robbie song then of course he should have the deciding say - but it's not. if he's to be part of TT even for one album, then he, and his fans, need to learn a little bit about democracy. Jay is 1/4 // 1/5 of TT and since the comeback has been credited as a writer on every song. this is no different.

  • @scamrasc yeah, he is credited... but he doesn't write anything.... I like him, really do... but this is the truth

  • @Kylie2102 1. you don't know the truth. jay's credited and a member of the group and that's that. i don't know exactly how big his involvement would be but i know it's been said many times that he's actually quite good with lyrics - which i would well believe given how philosophical he is - and that he also actually plays an instrument (the guitar). 2. if he is part of a group then he deserves to have his voice heard. wasn't that robs complaint 1st time round?

  • @scamrasc on the fact that he deserves to have his voice, I TOTALLY agree. everyone has this right. and like I said the other day, it's better that they say what they think, otherwise there would be a lot of hypocrisy among the lads..but the band decided to credite everyone in every song, no matter who writes and who not. so the fact that jason is credited doesn't mean anything

  • @Kylie2102 ok i get what you're saying on that point and it may well be true (though i genuinely believe that no matter the size of his role, his role still matters), so we seem to agree in general, but i don't how that point relates in any way to the discussions on here where certain people blatantly said jason had no right to basically speak, as he was disagreeing with robbie. what i'm saying is, he had every right to, and to suggest otherwise (about any member) imo is wrong.

  • @scamrasc about this point I totally agree with you... he has every right to say what he thinks.. ;)

  • My Lord, when Robbie sings Eight Letters and Pretty Things it is just a bit like being in heaven.

  • @StarP33 totally agree with you!!! he should have sung eight letters on the album too!

  • Comment removed

  • @StarP33 eight letters is ace, why is it gary singing on the album :(

  • @StarP33 or as gary would put it "fucking ace"

  • Gary Barlow is far more talented than Robbie Williams....both as a singer and a songwriter.

  • @welshjoe21 I think they're both great in what they do... and they think the same about each other, so

  • @keanuu WRONG!! Robbie has always written the lyrics. Guy has written the music... GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT! you might want to rethink your definition of a 'SONG'

  • @TheRakete10 funny how the quality of his stuff suddenly took a drop after he told guy to shove it then...

  • Robbie CANT write songs. Guy Chambers wrote all his hits and thats a fact. He is pretty good at putting lyrics together and thats it. Jason can critize him all he wants because its important that Robbie and his big ego understands he is NOT the boss of Take That and that it is not about him anymore. Take That was kind and generous to let him come back because he couldn't handle the pressure of being alone anymore. I hope he is thankful.

  • @keanuu Robbie is author of all of his songs. Not just the lyrics, he writes the melody lines too and cowrites the music with other people (guy chmbers, stephen duffy,etc.etc.) Why can't you take that fans credit him for having talent?

  • @FlamiStar why can't robbie fans recognise that TT have BOTH talent and a humble equality?

  • @keanuu oh yeah.... take that are a charity association... I didn't know that! about rob's songwriting, he wrote quite all the lyrics of his songs, of all his solo carreer...... so... let go... you can't say the same about jay, for istance... be a member of the band should mean do something, cooperate... in which way does he cooperate? I tell you...... to be nice, really less than rob....

  • on the album is it gary who sings eight letters ?

  • @louluvsl33ds unfortunately yes

  • I hate the way jason criticises Robbie's lyrics. I think that deep insight they're all jealous of Robbie's huge solo success. Deep inside they begrudge him and his talent. I wish RObbie could open his eyes.

Goose bumps when he sings Eight Letters : he gives the song much more meaning than gary does.

  • @FlamiStar yeah so basically in your eyes robbie is god and every person on earth should bow down to him rather than ever dare to have their own opinion - because that's just simply NOT possible! you don't agree, therefore you MUST be jealous! yes, i see your logic. grow up. hell, even robbie's begining to.

  • Comment removed

  • @scamrasc I don't think rob is god. I'm just expressing my point of view, and I have all the rights to do it. I might be right , I might be wrong, maybe the truth is in between. If you don't think the same as me you can express your opinion as well, but tell somebody else to grow up.

  • @FlamiStar well that's just plain hypocritical. you and someone else - brendawalsh? - were basically just saying that jason doesn't have a right to express his own opinion over the lyrics simply because it was robbie that wrote them. now you say you're just expressing yours?

  • @scamrasc no,I haven't said that. I only said I found THE WAY jason criticized rob a subtle and creepy expression of his jealousy which upsetted me. Not the fact itself that he criticized rob.Everyone has the right to criticize and express their opinion, but that doesn't mean if they say something you find unfair, like jason did, everyone else has to accept it... well it's a bit difficult to explain, so you have your opinion and I have mine... that's it ... let's not make a competition!

  • @FlamiStar ok, well i suppose it's fair enough that you don't like the way it happened - i misunderstood there and i apologise. but i don't think it's got anything to do with any form of jealousy. jay's point was valid - the second verse IS very much so about robbie rather than TT as a whole, which was his issue. (robbie's point that it's beautiful is also valid - it's probably my favourite song on the album) Jay can be brutally honest, and with himself aswell. any issues he has he voices, incl*

  • Gary's accent reminds me the beatles, especially John's voice

  • This is how a record is done. It`s not only happy people, but also discussion and compromises. Think, it`s good that they showed us also the hard part of their work

  • does anyone know who wrote their new song, was it robbie or gary

  • @rosine101 i'm not sure what you mean - they write everything together. well, lyrically at least. gary did all the actual music

  • why does robbie get to sing everything??? he's not the only one in the band

  • @ilytakethat

He's not, Gary's singing, Mark's got at least 2 songs, and J's singing as well. Howard's the only one not as far as I can tell. Remember that one of the big problems before was that Gary did everything. And I think it was partly the whole band's choice that now, since Rob has had his career, that they can't push him to the back again. They want him to be a big part of the new album.

  • this is the most uncomfortable bit. i feel awkward just watching it again. but its so brave of the boys to show us everything- not just the happy moments.

i'm proud of Jason for not compromising his opinion. tt is bigger than any one person.

  • @brendawalsh9021o it's a teamwork, you have to give your opinion whether you're right or wrong,I bet there were many discussions about certain lyrics in the past but we didn't see them,he could do anything he wanted if it was his album only, but this is a group and you have to listen your partner's opinion, something they didn't do much in the past,it's about respect and see your mate as equal..btw, there isn't a manual of how to write a song, if you have something to say then you say it, period

  • @CrissyJB Teamwork?? I mean seriously. when did Jason write a song?? he's not entitled to criticize Rob coz Rob is an amazing songwriter and knows what he's talking about. Jason just doesn't want him to be in the limelight but Rob IS the megastar! I don't even get why he's degrading himself joining TT.

Jason can talk about routines, that he can do.

  • @brendawalsh9021o so because you don't write songs you're not entitled to give your opinion?,what's take that now a dictatorship?, opinions are not a decoration and now robbie williams can't be criticized?, to me he's just guy who happens to have money, not a god,I really don't know if Jason wants him or not, but since in your mind jay is so insignificant and Rob is a megastar why do you pay so much attention to jason's opinion anyway and take it so personal?, keep in mind even stars fade away

  • @CrissyJB And why do you think Robbie has money? because he won the lottery or because he's the solo artist who sold more records in the UK ? It's not a coincidence since he writes every single song he sings. And here not only he's letting them use his genous he even gets criticized by someone who's never wrote a song in his life like Jason?? I'd take it more seriously if the critiques would come by Mark or Gary -who I don't like at all- but at least write songs for living. Jason can only dance.

  • @brenda.. Jay wasn't saying robbie was a bad or a good songwriter,in that way i would have understood your comment, he thought a part of the song wasn't suitable.I read a book and don't like it but i can't say it because i'm not a writer?,that's nonesense, freedom of speech went straight to the garbage!! I assume that you're not a songwriter either and yet you can give props to Robbie's songwriting,so people who don't agree with robbie know nothing about songwriting but people who agree do?,nice

  • @CrissyJB I totally agree with you

  • @brendawalsh9021o well..thats the difference solo-TEAM work, but you have to now how to work in a team......becouse they were young and they think like you back then, they split up, but when maturity cames over you...you can look thinks different.....everybody has his role...but that is a TEAM....and that does not mean just one has-the genous- to speak......

  • @CrissyJB wonderful comment in response to one that was quite frankly just pigheaded, foolish and disrespectful.

  • @brendawalsh9021o gary, rob and mark do quite all the job and that's true... at least howard writes something, plays some instruments and has a great voice... great... but jay doesn't do anything... that's true... but god bless them for having opinions and saying them instead of hypocrital silences...jay said what he thought but then he let rob doing what he wanted... infact the lyrics are the ones that rob wrote...

  • gary is a Good singer, but rob has something more... his voice is simply fab... :) good song and is better sung by gary, but rob's voice is the ONE :)

  • 'Mark, that's why i love you' so cite :3 thanx for posting :) x

  • Poor Gary. It must have been terrible.

  • aww markie when he started crying so did i :(

  • Thanks for uploading :)
