Yes though we would have to move the seat forward a bit say 6" maybe 8" and I would recommend the Tohatsu MFS25CEPTS as it is the same engine - Tohatsu makes the Merc 25, but with fewer parts, thus easier to work on and generally less expensive. I should point out that going to the 12 foot unit with a 30HP would make no difference in trailering, and provide for a much faster, and roomier boat. (the 10VS is 10'5' the 12 is12' 1,5' longer.
The boat itself is rated for a 25hp - The issue is the weight of the new 25's is really to heavy. If this is what you are looking for then Yes we can but on a 25hp however we wold move the seat more forward to off set the weight. Unless length is an issue you would be best served by moving up to the 12' unit with a 30hp, or larger. Let me know what you might like to do.

would it take a merc 25 4 stroke as i prefer this make i wolnt go any bigger because it would make traliering difficult where are you based thanks!!!
