Every time I think about this series, which I love so much, my chest gets that tight, heavy, hollow feeling of loss. It's amazing that it has such an impact. I have always felt that Spike was an old friend of mine that I'll never see again... and at the same time, he's a person that no matter how much I want to, I will never meet. And the show was right: we've all been carrying that weight.

This song is the conclusion at long last, to Spike's torment. He is finally free to do as he wishes. It is, a rather bittersweet conclusion however, and this song sums it up perfectly.
