vigo was a cool dude and he was featured more

than gozer did in the first picture and now toy giant

mattel has launched the vigo action figure from ghostbusters 2

with mini painting of vigo and they also launched the statue of liberty

action figure they are not on general sale yet but distribution date will follow.

Part of it is expectation. The movie would probably make a lot of money, but still lack in appeal just because it is a sequel. Very rarely does a sequel outdo its predecessor. Sure, the story for Ghostbusters II was lacking compared to the first one, but it was still the original Ghostbusters. I like it just for that.

The 2nd movie is not that good honestly. It has some ok moments of special effects but the comedy is seriously lacking and the idea of a villain in the painting was completely lame. It's how Ivan Reitman says it's better than the first movie, but that's just business as the first is clearly the funnier movie and the ghost are actually slightly scary as well.

They're supposed to promote the movie in a positive light. While I did like the first movie better, I do still like Ghostbusters II just because it is the Ghostbusters. And besides, the video game explained that the events in the first movie were responsible for what happened in the sequel. That made Ghostbusters II all the more interesting.
