The only thing I would never do is throw out random b+1's under that much pressure with no spacing. d/b+2... yeah. Even then it just seems like the Julia player has Yoshi experience. u/f+ 4,3's killed his sword sweep. I gotta study this vid some more. Good shit!

Why does it seem that some of you are downing this Yoshi player? Fact of the matter is Yoshi vs. a SOLID Julia in T6 is one HELL of an annoying fight. It's almost as if she took the head games we hoped Yoshi "should" have in T6.

Noko & Souten could have lost SEVERAL battles to this player 4 all we know. Great mix-ups and wake up game. Plus neither one of them broke a single throw if you watched the whole video. That should tell you the match was unpredictable

Bravo!! nice julia changs vid. my observation is when there's a wall in specific stage.. julia use her elow at the end of the juggle and splashes yoshi at the wall then julia strike with 1+2 b+4 1+2 .. at the last stage(obviously no wall) julia just uses B+1 at the end of the combo then 4~2,1 or f,2.

yoshimitsu is definately the most uniquely designed char in the whole tekken series, and im glad they gave him a fist fighting style u can switch to in tekken 6, but im unhappy i dont see it alot in videos.

@Boinkstyle That's because their aren't too many good uses for it, Yoshi in NSS fights very similarly as if he's still holding his sword, it's pretty silly by my part, I'd say, it would be awesome if they made that style more unique for him. Yes he has a couple unique NSS techniques, but their not so great. Many Yoshi players prefer him with the sword which is understandable. I hope this changes in Tekken 7, hoping they make him more unique and more meant for Tekken..

but yoshi's air combo was nasty, my air combo is nothing like that mine is just lift with df +2, 3 spins (with b + 1), 5 spins, 1 spin then f 1+4, and if i knee lift them i use dash jab with 1, 4 spins, df 3 + 1

The combos in this video are the main combos you should be using for yoshi.. and I've never seen a move that's df+2,3..... unless you mean df+2,2

The only ok ground game he has is d/b+3,3,3,3.... , FC d/f+1, d/b+4 (bearly does damage), FC d/f+4, his 1+2 stance in to a 3 (which people will see from a distance), and his u+1+2 in to a 3. Some of these lows aren't really worth trying unless you really have the other player on a tight rope or very low on health. But yea, thats all the ground game he has...

altho i agree with u yoshi's ground game isn't as crazy as julias (because i personally use both of them) this yoshi guy is too defensive, first of all he needs to use d/f +3, hit with 4 and finish with F 1+2, he also can use F F 4, can use bf 1+2, B 1+4, finish with 1+2 stance, hit 1+2 again, throw in a jab and press charge with 1+4, LIKE these comboes i just listed here are essential, more than that he also needs to focus on just a simple JAB UPPERCUT haha, great fast move to get some air hits

Whoa whoa whoa? Jab uppercut?! You actually want a yoshi player go in to a NSS?! I have yet to see a video of a yoshi player going in a No Sword Stand (NSS) and most of the moves your talking about I've pretty much never heard of before. I think you may have the commands a bit wrong. ff4 is a good move but it can be easily sidestepped. His f+1+2 is good tho, no complaints there. and everything else I don't know what in gods name your talkin about...

i mean, 1+4 with yoshi where he does the unblockable sword counter (jes dash up n throw that out it works especialy if they're aggressive), if u land that hit, u press 1+2 to go into sword stance, sword hits, then u press 1 +2 again to head butt which hits in air, throw in a 1 for a jab, then press f 1+4 for a charge to hit, try it, it works with that unblockable breath thing also (db 1+2 stance), and by jab uppercut, i simply jsut mean df + 2, it's safe, also that sword trip would b usefull

Oh... you mean 1+4 (Flash) d+1+2 (Flea) in to 1+2 (flea Headbutt) Yea I know it works. and if you time it right you get a free b+2, 1 and his db1+2 stance (bad stomach) is horrible because his bad breath ONLY works on CH. Like I said before his df+2 is ONLY a jab uppercut in his NO SWORD STANCE! if I do a df+2 when he still has his sword out he does a completely different move.

on the other hand htis julia player is good, so yeah maybe i basehd on yoshi too hard, julia player was mixing that shit up good, and also cornering a lot which is also a plus, but if i could recommend, spamming the elbows is a must, and the 1,1,1 is so broken not even funny, finish with F+3,1, dash twice then df 4, 2 then bf 1+2, also needs to use while rising 2, 4, 1, cuz once 4 hits, 1 is automatic, since a lot of players don't seem to realize this

Its funny when you talk about a yoshi player like that as if this were soul calibur 4 and yoshi WAS actually a good character to begin with.... In all truths Yoshi is low tier and most of everything he has is VERY unsafe. Yoshi as a character has very little ground game. His stances are ok ( I can't even say decent) if the other player doesn't know yoshi too well and your bascially relying on nothing but wiff punishing to win games. So I'd give that Yoshi player some credit.

Woah woah woah, bro, slow down, Tekken is not a button mashing game nor it has been a button mashing franchise, true videogame fighting fans play games like Tekken. Streetfighter doesn't even come close to pounding Tekken just to let you know.. and I grew up and still love streetfighter... remember your comparing a 3D fighter vs. a 2D fighter, they're 2 different things.
