"the fixies"? lol. one way to start is by actually going to downtown and hit up the messengers that are posted up on 5th and flower or up on 4th and hope street "aka: the wall" and ask them where you can apply. They're always hiring new people, it shouldn't be too hard to get in. It's also sorta good to know someone too. My brother got me in and I got hired the same day I applied.
