To find the CORRECT rules (and not the ones this guy is showing), search for blackjackinfo strategy engine. Input the table rules you'll be up against from the selection on the left. These print up nicely as well. Avoid casino gift shop cards as they may be for different rules/games. Basic strategy rules differ depending on the house rules, number of decks, and whether you're counting or not. You'll typically face 2 different shoe games: 6 decks/DAS/S17 and 6 decks/DAS/H17. (4-8 decks are same)

And asfar as systems working or not, they do work but not for everybody. There is a system out there for everyone depending on your abilities, not everyone is capable of mentally multi-tasking or mental math. Try horses instead. For the rest, spend enormous amounts of time on the basics till you think, eat, and sleep basics. Then find the system right for you. Even though I'm not a 'counter' yet, using strict basics I can double my roll most of the time just watching high cards.

You can get charts from casino gift shops and nearby convenience stores. Or do a google search for 'basic strategy chart'. Get one and learn it by heart like multiplication tables. You should not have to think about what to do on any hand, it should come naturally from one quick glance freeing up time to count. Learn basic strategy by heart first.

Having said that though there are people who can and have done it but not with just a basic strat chart, you need a count aswell to be more accurate. And if you do succeed I don't like your chances of being let into very many casino's. Alot of dealer if they are worth their weight can also count and you will be caught eventually. then you got nothing.

I been a dealer for years and conducted countless hours of research in my own gaming lab at home. it not as simple as running your count and pulling money off the tables. All that chart is get you down to close to even money with the casino, chops out the edge a little. That chart was written years ago and not very accurate with alterations you can improve a little but not enough. 9.999 percent of the time you go broke like every other schmuck. If you buy into this you are a fool.

It's quite easy, just play a lot of blackjack online and handle the list every hand. You will memorize it and recognize the patterns in the chart

It is not a good idea to buy a basic strategy card in the casino gift shop! The basic strategy cards they sell are either almost correct(with a few mistakes) or they apply to different blackjack games than the one offered in that casino. For example, if a casino has nothing but S17 games, they can sell basic strategy cards that apply to H17 games. Just a few mistakes in basic strategy can greatly increase the house edge and, in some cases, wipe out a card counter's advantage.

It is easy to count cards - however it is not as easy to win as you might think - due to the procedures put in place to stop you if you are winning - all casions reserve the right to alter rules - deck cut - remove bets - or simply shuffle - with this in mind the days of counting are hardly worth it.

other players do not affect the cards by hitting when they should been standing or vice versa. It can help your hand just as much as it can hurt it. also dont assume the dealer has a 10 as the hole card it's just plain wrong. just get a basic strategy chart and follow it.

One more thing, if you want to win money, the odds of you winning also increase when you go to a higher limit table - the players are usually more experienced. When you have people that don't know how to play at the table, they alter the plays (cards) when they take those extra cards or hit when they shouldn't have and the dealer usually wins. Simple as that!

no offence to you mate as this is a common mistake as GolfingYogi explains above. The only way that playing with bad players can effect you is if you let their bad play distract you and therefore to cause you to make strategical mistakes of your own. They can't effect your chance of winning the hand. You only notice it when it goes against you so it seems that they always cause you to lose but that isnt the case.

Condense these tutorials: Always assume the dealer has a 10 as their hole card. Hit on a 16 or less if the dealer is showing a 7 or above as their upcard. If the dealer has a 6 or below you always stay with a 12 or better beause you want the dealer to bust, not you. Always hit your soft 17. Odds are best in single &/or double deck blackjack.

yeah, most charts suggest that if the dealer's up card is 6 or below, the dealer is most likely to be busted. But I find it not always the case. 5 and 6, yes; but mostly 2 and 3 won't. if it's 4, and it depends on how lucky you are.

If my case, unless the up card is 5 and 6, I'll always hit if below 15, and stay at 15.

However if you are going to play alot of blackjack or even professionally you need to take those fractions if you hope to at least break even.

That depends on how good you are ánd how lucky you are, if you follow these cards to the exact letter, you might lose all your money the very first time it suggests you can double up. It's still a gambling game.

Actually, with 8 decks being played it's quite easy to be wrong. Chances will be in favor of the house. That's true for all casino games.

6 decks are put in the shufflemachine, the machine shuffles all cards and than the cards are dealt.

Its impossible!

In every hand 6 decks get shufeeld and dealt to players.

A machine isn't truly random. Just find the equation and the rest will come.

That's not true. You can use a fixed infinite seed to produce ever random numbers, but you can also mix more random numbers into the seeding numbers making it even more random right from start. Machines can be truly random, it just takes the right seeding numbers. Don't forget that even for random cards it's only a matter of time before you'll see just about the same sequence of cards passing by. Dealers aren't 100% random either.
