  • 100% better than the T34

  • Very very Nice! 5*!

  • the backbone of the German tank weapon, the most widely tank used in ww2 by the Germans. problem was the low armor against new weapons from the enemies. The panther should replace him

  • IR equipment was used early in War by Luftwaffe Nightfighters (Spanner)

  • that poor tiger tank painted pink hahaha

  • @therealetorin where is tiger???

  • cheers petr, thanks to new youtube and my unreliable internet (saunalahti), dont know what messgaes went through, whatever lets continue this talk little later if oki, also with planes

  • cheers petr, thanks to new youtube and my unreliable internet (saunalahti), dont know what messgaes went through, whatever lets continue this talk little later if ok, also with planes

  • another great, diky petr! at my top ten tanks list nr 4

  • @hopsista321 thanks jarkko , what are no3,2 and 1 ?

  • @petrwarry72

heres my thinking of this subject: )

nr 1 jagdpanther (some might say not exact tank but i think its enough, guess if had made enough could have been most effective weapon with axis)

nr 2 tiger I (pz vi, included king tiger, but original was best, best by frightening)

    nr 3 panther (pz v)

nr 4 pz iv (work horse, effective enough to destroy every possible enemy with 75mm long gun)

nr 5 t34 (great at terrain, still guess over estimated)

  • @hopsista321 my no1 is late panther , not so unreliable as early versions. firefly is good but catches on fire easy, i wish to know more about is2

jagdpanther which is in IWM london fought just with one track and was stoped / flanked from about 50 metres , 4 hits to engine area forced its crew to give up and leave

  • @petrwarry72 i've read about jagdpanthers which stopped traffic totally and were only stoppable from air, main reason was good angle with armour (interested about these new details for me). also about panthers with night vision equipment (infrared-not sure if stories are true)

what are your other best ones?

  • @hopsista321 i've seen few pics with panther's noktovisors , read at some ww2 forums it's fake

to be honest i haven't got any ladder/scale no1 to 10. depends on envirovement of battle field, even tiger is useless if can not ride in deep mud etc etc , sorry nothing realy comes to my mind

  • I do not think it is a fake, as the technology existed, as scopes in Stg44 and MG42, and also on the Panther. It has been said that a single unit of Jagdpanthers with IR-equipment existed as well.

  • @aaKonda i do remember reading story where few panthers with night visions attacked allies (canadians?) at night and these were surprised where fire comes from. with panthers were there some sdkfz251 with special lights (i think called"uhu"/owl) sorry my technical english is pretty weak

  • @petrwarry72

I dont think its only a story. I cannot post a link here, as youtube seems to reject my comments that include links. But just go to Achtung Panzer! , go Panzer Profiles -> Panzer V -> German Infrared Night-Vision Devices and theres plenty of pictures of sdkfz UHU and the Panther. Also in the weapons museum in Koblenz, theres the Vampire IR-sight for the STG44 on display.

  • Thank you Petrwarry, for uploading this video and not using Panzer Lied.

  • @EvilFingers thanks john , i know ...too many panzerlieds LOL

  • @robin6512 thanks robin

  • Great, a new favorite!! I love the shape of the Panzer IV in all his versions. I've built a Panzer IV, a Jagdpanzer IV and at the moment I'm close to completing a model of a StuG IV and it won't be the last one I think... ;)

    5* as usual!!

  • @Gott0300 thanks dino,i've got StuG IV just dragon armor die cast 1:72

    fingers crossed

  • I like Dragon, it's my favorite company for model kits. The Dragon Armor stuff is not bad!

The StuG I'm building is an old Italeri kit and it's not really up to date and has some flaws, but I'm trying to get the best out of it..

Thanks for keeping your fingers crossed, Petr!! :)

  • is that you at the end petr ? :P 5*

  • @panzerschiff1995 yes rob, that's me at bovington tank museum , i've added big title "thanks for watching" which was covering me,but somehow that title disappeared , no idea how and why :-)

  • @kyokogodai thanks dough, to be honest -i've spent pretty few hours of searching , i wanted use better shots but i couldn't find them , i must have deleted some older docu films, so this vid isn't so good as i wanted :-(

  • well, what can i say? BLOODY FANTSTIC!!

but tell me, Petr. were do you find all those color and War footage from?

  • @ThePanzerWarMachine thanks steve , randomly , just anywhere , mainly i have to check heaps of docu films if there is anything worth to edit and post , danke

  • @petrwarry72

    hehe kein problem

the problem that i have is that i dont know were to find all those footage?

  • @ThePanzerWarMachine takes too much time , like for this vid i had to check about 6 long documentaty films plus gather photos , anyway i'm not very satisfied , i wanted to use more clear footage , found just these blurry , damn

  • 5*****mate!!!!!!
