  • perfect

  • this isn't accurate people in the middle east were white skinned, after islam was introduced slavery was stopped and the people mixed

  • @ashif21

Are you serious? Most were never white skinned except for a few isolated cities, and slavery flourished before and after Islam and continues to this day. It's always been a melting pot.

  • @ashif21 Semites have always been "swarthy", they speak AFRO-ASIATIC languages and originated from africa and southern arabia. In fact if anything, people in Iraq today are lighter skinned now than before because of mixture with light skinned Indo-european people like Iranians and Greeks.

  • when i see this i feel so so so soooo proud to say, this is my bakground, my grangrangrangrangrad parents did live here!

  • the Persian empire included the modern territories of Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, parts of Central Asia, Asia Minor, Thrace and Macedonia, much of the Black Sea coastal regions, Iraq, northern Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, and all significant population centers of ancient Egypt as far west as Libya - Wiki

  • They would have hard fired the bricks with galze in an oven. this would produce tiles as water proof as a modern dinner dish or mixing bowl

  • Mesopotima = Iraq

  • Is that Pierce Brosnan narrating?

  • @ChristianPainter it does sound like him =3

  • @5:25 they could make a flower grow where God can not :)

The kings of Babylon look cool on this video :). Truth is that this video seduces by picturing evil as a nice flower freak :)))

  • This schoolars know Everything...lol ....

  • @MrDiem2 Actually they are, Native Iraqis are Assyrians, Babylonians and Sumerians all called Iraqis.

PS: Saddam was a Bathist and stated the exact opposite, he claimed that Iraqi were ethnic Arabs, which they are not. Remember Arab in Iraq refers to a language, not an ethnicity.

  • @MrDiem2 There related, never said they were the SAME mate but they have been a part of the same empieres time and time again and they prop intermixed many times throughout histroy

  • Comment removed

  • @MrDiem2 Nither am I, I dont think that is even up for debate

  • @narrowcross Well that's what I first said, I find it annoying how people always refer babylon or mesopotamia as "Iraqi" history, a more correct tearm would be near-eastern history

  • @MrDiem2 Still today, those who are closest (historically to Babylonian history is Iraqis.

  • @786swe Closest in what way? Geneticaly probably, but Iraq has been captured by so many different people over the years the Iraqi's today carry legacy from all kinds of different people, not just Mesopotamian, really nobody today can claim direct descent from the Babylonians, as Akkadian is a dead language and the very few speakers of Aramaic left today carry descent from all kinds of different people, not just Babylonian. Modern day Iraqi's are mostly Arabian/Iranian-mixed Mesopotamian people.

  • @MrDiem2 What is this bs of "Modern day Iraqi's are mostly Arabian/Iranian-mixed Mesopotamian people."? Do you have any clue what "Arabian" or "Iranian" means ethnically? Dumbo!

  • @786swe What do you mean? Arabian people is a reference to the many Arabian tribes that settled in Iraq after the islamic conquest, whom most Iraqi's are partially descended from. Iranian refers to the various Aryan people who captured and controlled Mesopotamia, like the Medes, Achamenids, Parthians and Sassanids, who Iraqi's also carry partial descend from. All this mixed with their Sumero/Akkadian (Assyro-Babylonian) as well as some other (like Turko-Mongolian and Greek) makes them very mixed

  • @MrDiem2 Exactly and nhence you original statement was bs.

  • @MrDiem2 lol using your logic Jews have nothing to do with Israel. Ashkenazi left Israel millenia ago and are European. Iraqis are descendants (culturally if not ethnically) of the Babylonians. Jews and Muslims (which I guess everyone has a problem with: invades or corrupting every country) are semites. Semites are not Persians they are not Babylonians. They had nothing to do with any great Wonder.

  • @shalom1948hellyeah "..the Semitic peoples are divided into 4 chief Babylonian: Assyrian (East Semites), Chanaanitic (West Semites), Aramaic (North Semites), & Arabian (South Semites )which is divided into North and South Arabians, of which last the Abyssinians are a branch. The first three groups are usually termed North Semites, and the last South Semites. The classification of the Babylonian w/ Aramaic and Chanaanitic Semites is not permissible from the philological point of view."

  • @AguilaComandanteDGO yes sorry even at the video it says 2650 BC..

my bad..but he says the older culture and the older is the Assyrian Empire wich was 9-12 BC in now Iraq and most of Proofs are in British museum

  • Wait a sec !!! ... i had a history book from the net about Babylon..

The first thing was written is that this culture was about 9 - 12 thousand years BC.

How Pyramids become older if they are just 5 thousand years BC ???

  • That Princess looks like a chav.

  • @TheMrGobble

    What's a "chav?"

  • @torchkit cheryl cole

  • the world would be a better place if not for islam. so many cultures and great kingdoms lost

  • @AlizeCiz Lol no empires last for ever it just get replaced by another, thats the history of mankind. And it was the persians and macedonians that destroyed what was the last of mesopotamian empire, Babylon. And FYI Islam is the only major religion that doesnt conflicts with science but instead encourages it, just glance at history. Muslims brougt up civilization to a whole new level in every aspect of society and contributed to the european renaissance. Dont spurt out ignorance.

  • oh how i do wish i could have seen the gardens of babylon

some 60,000 troops became addicts, and CIA got the money to fund coups and secret armies in Latin America (where Negrabonte comes in)

fastfoward 1991 -> DU & untested anthrax pills given to GI's that made them sick

backward 1950's -> US Army marching troops into contaminated areas after nuclear detonatations!

Henry Kissinger called the troops "canon fodder" . gun powder!

  • i guess that says something the US Army, doesn't it !!!???

  • EgyptianPrinceCB

Well Jews are from Asia not Europe.

Not to mention that Muslims also had nothing to do with any of the Seven Wonders.

But they did manage to invade and oppress the societies that did create the seven wonders.

Including Greece. Which happens to be white

  • Comment removed

  • @CandelarioGaIvan why spreading all this racist hatred here while we talk about wonders and not religion???? but now that you spoke about religion, I'm glad to make you a bit wiser than you are and tell you that taaj mahal which is one of the world wonders was built by a muslim king for a muslim queen :DDD . Plz do not tell things you do not have enough knowledge about.

  • @cairoti

To start with Islam isn't based on race. Nice of you to try and drop the race card but it doesn't apply at all.

2nd I noticed that you had nothing to say about EgyptianPrinceCB propaganda post about the US CIA and Vietnam. WHY????

  • @CandelarioGaIvan :-) obviously I'm writing to someone who's not assuming his/her affirmations. Do not deviate the conversation to EgyptianPrince CB, to whom I have absolutely nothing to say. You talked about muslims destroying world wonders and I answered to you. Now, I'm a Persian from Afghanistan, so pls do not come and talk to ME about CIA, US army, propaganda....:D USA gvnment is composed of cowards and there's nothing to say, everything is already obvious to all of us!!!

  • @cairoti

I talked to EgyptianPrinceCB about Muslims destroying the civilizations in and about the wonders of the world. Now if you want to talk about Cowards who was it that the destroyed the Buddhas of Bamyan in Afghanistan??

Who is it that enslaved women in Afgnaistan?

Who is it that blew up a wheat market in Lashkar Gah?

If could post for hours on the subject!!!

And the US GOV is made up of mindlessness fucking whores, drug addicts and prostitues

  • @CandelarioGaIvan

'Not to mention that Muslims also had nothing to do with any of the Seven Wonders'

    looolllll!!!!

which part of the world do you live?

  • @yasirm93b

Seeing that you come from a nation with a 3rd rate edutational system let me help you

The newest of the 7 wonders of the world Lighthouse of Alexandria was built in 280BC. Their was no Islam at 280 BC

  • @CandelarioGaIvan Jews are actually from North Eastern Africa, what you never heard of the stroy of Moses? Check there DNA migration patterns and you will see.

  • Comment removed

  • @CandelarioGaIvan jews loool you consider them a nation ! they spend their whole history as lost dogs in europe and pretty much everywhere they have been , ok let's keep the religion away , how many kilometer israel control ? and how many kilometer just the arabs control ? sweet dreams

  • @CandelarioGaIvan are you stupid or what ?! of course they didn't have anything to do with it , because the islam begins after the 7 wonders but on the other hand they manage to spread their religion across the whole world , do you think just becuse they have the force back then !? look to Indonesia how they became the biggest muslim country !! did u ask your self a question why the turkish and the persian ( iran ) who now ruling by them self , are muslims ?!

  • @CandelarioGaIvan the greeks hated white people. they viewed them as uncivilized barbarians.

  • @jochoa333 For them it was nothing about Skincolour, Thats just you, fucking racist cunt piss off to your black-Hitler and stay there..

The greeks considered everyone to be barbarian who wasn´t a democracy, It was politics.

  • @SvitjodsWarrior youre a fucking idiot. trying doing some research and stop trying to be so politcally correct. youre right that greeks referred everyone who wasnt greek as barbarian. but not all barbarians were seen the same by the greeks . while they referred to the great persian empire as barbaric and empires in china as barbaric those barbarians were not seen as equal to primitive europeans of the time. the greeks expressed extreme racism against the europeans moreso than any other peoples.

  • @jochoa333 couple of things the greeks thought about the europeans of the time. note its not entirely because they werent greek. incapable of living according to written laws and only reluctantly tolerating kings... their love of drink boundless. . they are given to gross personal hygiene...They run dirty and barefoot, even in the winter...They grease their blond hair with butter and care not that it smells rancid.. they deem it right to sacrifice to the god mercury even with human victims

  • @EgyptianPrinceCB apparantley these people werent arabs either

  • At 3:36 it sounds like Pierce Brosnan!

  • I LOVE BEING CHALDEAN!!! I wouldnt change for anything in the world...

  • of all the 7 wonders, I think this one is my fave

  • I wish I could have seen the Gardens. Babylon was a splendid metropole. A shame none can visit the ruins today.

  • - I agree with the Asain man at 0:55. Gardens of Babylon is very interesting. Seems like a beautiful place to relax. How lovely the gardens and water flow must have been.

    - There's something about it that fascinates me. That and the Colossus of Rhodes are my two very favorite of The Seven World Wonders.

  • @invadersue how come we can't visit the ruins...??? is it in a war country today..?? I wish i was in ancient times, but of a wealthy family, so as to travel about...!!

I wonder what the 7 wonders will be of our world, for people 3,000 years from now

  • @paddlepopkid Taj mahal will be one of the 7 wonders of you world.

  • @invadersue

if the muslims havent of taken over, you still would of seen it by now :)

  • @1babylonian bs blaming on the Muslims.

  • lol kurdish wife

    wasn träumer

    hahahahahahahahahahaha

  • babylon existed before the rise of islam correct?

  • Someone once said there is no such thing as stupid questions.

But your question sir is beyond retarded.

ofcourse this was before islam was created

  • no need to be a jerk about it u inbecile i was asking a fairly friendly question

  • dont pay attetion to that jerk. Islam is from way after Crist (I think 600 AD), and Babylon is one of the oldest places (like 3000 BC I think, look it up). It is a fair question :)

  • yer spell christ right ya dumb ass ; ]

  • is the narrator DAVID BOWIE? THAT SOUNDS LIKE HIS VOICE

  • Pierce Brosnan.

  • The Babylonians were experts at making mud bricks. They could easily have built a large terraced building from them.

They could also have planted a huge garden in the building, and used water from the rivers to irrigate.

  • you are( Athorians) from Turkia not Assyrians, how dare u change your nationality to Assyrian? and changed the king who built the hanging gardens to Assyrian while he was Babyloian?

  • ?? peace out

  • @fuckturks2223 first of all it wasn't build by assyrians it was build by the chaldean king hammurabi it was built for persians princes not for kurdish back then kurds hadn't migrated to iraq

  • @Tigris363 Everyting you stated is correct, except that Hummurabi was a Babylonian (native to central Iraq) not a Chaldean.

  • Babylon is not i Egypt. Babylon is in Iraq. In the past, it was a man who invented the military and bells they will be 60 minutes, and seconds and stuff. He also invented the rules before.

  • Pluto we Babylonians are referred to Assyrians and we Assyrian existed before the time of the Pharoahs and STILL EXIST in todays society!

  • @megusta4109 they also messed it up the princess was a mountian princess and the king made it so the princess would feel at home

  • @nowayoffsorry youre thinking of Akkade, not of the old babylonian kingdom of Hammurabi. The neo-babylonians were much later

  • @nowayoffsorry yes, thats right. the PYRIMDS came first.

  • ian brown F.E.A.R

  • My point is!..............We never give Africa creditwhen we talk about the ancient world.

If it wasnt for mother Africa and its natural wealth, the ancient world wouldnt have developed as fast as it did oh!

  • "we cant even speak the truth.about what did the first Egyptians look like thats heartbreaking"

    ????????

everybody knows ancient egypt was african in origin. read henri frankfort: birth of civilization in the near east
