just finishing my restoration on my gp100, i,m in love again and its looking mint, micron system, k&n cone filter, re-jetted, proper mag wheels polished and colour matched to the re-painted bodywork, will be uploading a vid soon so add me as favorites and have a look, cheers jon
@ruke22 remove the 2 c cup mountings off gp tank plus the bracket at other end off gp tank then modify cb tank to accept these mountings then its easy, if you can weld and have a general eye for how things go together then its relatively straightforward, ill put some footage of it up with the cb tank and new colour scheme
I thought I'd update you to say you've inspired me and I've started working on my old GP after it's been in bits for nearly 30 years. I'm aiming for the cafe racer look like yours. At the moment I've got a couple of X1 cast wheels in it and an old RS125 Honda race seat. Hopefully in a month or so I'll be ready to start the motor.
there good for about that, not sure what this will do yet might not be any better but wouldnt fancy hanging on to it at 80 anyway as i welded the bars up lol!!
cliche I know, but as an old GP100 owner who's started to put one back together, what will it do? Mine did 78 on the clock back in '79 with standard pipe and airbox.
Just bought one of these, my god im in love, so much quicker than the scooter i've been riding for 7 months or so.
