how can i turn without the ropes,i thought pullin a certain side of hair would make him turn, instead he sprinted away with me on his back with no control, indians did it so there has to be a way
@wrestleorsurf Don't say indians man, that isn't cool. Practice neck reining and stopping with a neckrope until you have it down pat, then use a neck rope as a brake and neckrein your horse without a rope by using your hands. Don't punch your horse in the neck or dig your thumb in or anything, use firm pressure and increase until he responds. You can use your fist/thumb but never make it sudden, always increase pressure to give him time to respond. Message me if you want more advice :)
@Stormyluver12 Start out slow. Take your time, and dont rush yourself. If you dont feel ready to go on to a higher pace, then dont. Make sure you feel ready. :)
i think the horse looks like her legs hurts. i would say the right frontleg. also in trott the horse doesnt hold her head in the right way. maybe the briddle ist to strong for her.
@MsGoldlover No, she is not lame, but the footing isn't the greatest out there, it's easy to mis-step. She is wearing a mild curb which she likes to evade when she is in a pissy mood! :)
B-Utiful horse... GORGEUS..... she looks like she has quite nice head carriage .. in the making.. nicer then my big boy at the moment.. hes older and is only learning what bending and lowering your head means LOL.... but yeah.. she looks like she isnt the quietest.. but u did nicely.. would be nice to see how she canters! :) even with a saddle would be nice.. what a lovely horse.
you are sitting abit to far back and ur legs ar not in the right position also i agreee with every one else she is a bit lame you can easily tell.

no, she is not lame, but the terrain is uneven and it's easy to mis-step in that field

What a beautiful horse!! you can tell she is quite touchy on the bit.. Is her mouth just soft or is the bit to strong for her.
SilverShoeStudios 1 year ago
@SilverShoeStudios it's only a mild curb bit, she is trying to evade it by tucking in
