chances are the 3D on titanic is going to be horrible. When they turn films that weren't filmed in 3D into 3D it always ends up with incredible suckage. But I'm a huge fan of Titanic and have a big sad face for 3D. maybe he should work on another dances with avatars or whatever he's doing

I'm personally a big fan of the TinTin books, but it looks like they took all the TinTin characters into a fantasy storyline. Which I don't like. I haven't read all of the books, but I don't remember reading anything that resembles the teaser.

It is Spielberg and Jackson though which makes me think it will be good.

I would prefer them to just adapt one of the books into a movie, and for it to be live action, but I guess that this is the next best thing.

I think that 3D movies are actually a step towards the total immersion of the viewer into the world that is created by the director. They've already realized that you can't just stun their audience with 3D things RIGHT IN THEIR FACE... especially if it pulls from the storyline. The real trick is to get the audience to forget they are in a seat with popcorn and a soda.
