  • so then... Red John killed Kristina, didn't he?

  • @primerosteon No, he didn't.

  • @JisbonProductions damn it xDD I was hoping... but then what happened to her?

  • @primerosteon You see it in episode 3x03 :) She's alive, but ... how can you say that... not ... able to do anything.

  • @JisbonProductions okay. thanks very much! ^^

  • at some parts the voice sounds likes Patrick

  • Does anybody know the name of the song at the end when Patrick is laying on the mattress saying the "tiger tiger' poem? I've been searching for hours, going through soundtracks, looking around, but I cant find it. If anybody knows could you please let me know! Thanks!

  • @Jarenth80 I love that music,but I couldn't find it anywhere,sorry :(

  • @florianzwei u are alright , red john is a stranger and look , patrick killed an informant of the red john ,

  • he has the same voice as the man who patrick killed, so he was red john

  • you're all wrong

Red John is nobody you know, he is a stranger

    believe me

and it wouldnt make any sense if patrick were red john himselfs

  • Pesky copycats had to be disposed of by Red John.

  • That's Simon Baker doing Red John's voice. If he can drop his Australian accent for American, he can alter it enough to be Red John. 2 scenarios. Lisbon and the rest are patients and staff in a mental hospital. Jane is there because he 1 lost it after his family was killed and is playing out catching Red John in his head or 2 he killed his family and Red John and catching him is all a delusion.

  • Solved it, Red John is the fellow who Jane calls irksom was it? Jane also mentioned that Red John had a strong taste for theotor in that same episode. Red John quotes a line from a play in this vid so what he is telling Jane is "come and get me" Their is no hidden message (That i know of) So that would make sence he is taunting Jane. Calling it now that He is red John.

The guy i am refering to is the detective fello win the vid to the right under "Do you knwo what your problem is my freind"

  • @MakotoShishio5 thats EXACTLY what i think too!!!! noone else agrees but i think it is tht guy

  • @luvSIMONBAKER Well me and you shall call it. Right now we call that the silly detective in the first episode is Red John!!

  • Apparently, we're going to find out who Red John is in the season 3 finale, or at least Jane will, according to a synopsis of the episode.

  • Anyone else think that Red John sounds like Brett Partridge from the very first episode (the Red John "expert" or whatever he was :P)?

  • Tyger Tyger, burning bright,

In the forests of the night:

    What immortal hand or eye,

    Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

    I LOVE IT

  • I think it's kind of strange that RJ sounds like Jane, only talking quieter and softer...

  • i was watching this episode like 5min ago... i have a question, is this the LAST episode of mentalist ever, or just of this series????

  • @MultiPorsche2 There are 7 seasons planed. This scene is from the second one. The third is almost over. So it's not the last episode ever ;)

  • @JisbonProductions Thang good... i love mentalist so much i am almost adicted!!!

  • @MultiPorsche2 its the last episode of 2nd season

  • Tiger Tiger. burning bright,

    In the forests of the night;

    What immortal hand or eye.

    Could frame thy fearful symmetry

    I love this poem.

    WHAT DOES IT MEAN THOUGH?????

  • @chloerheon well in the poem blake is questioning whether it was god or the devil who created the tiger. not sure how it pertains to this though

  • I've the theory that Red John is Craig O'Laughlin or Patridge. RJ is probably someone in the police force.

  • how can jane ever hope to kill red john when he is such a scaried cat

  • DONT READ DONT READ DONT READ!

I think that voice is from that guy..."Toyman" or something, a character in Smallville. The actor's name is Chris Gauthier.

  • @Roy15x if you didnt want people to read it why post a comment about it? -__-

  • I.m sure, Red John is Partridge.

  • It just struck me that I heard two distinct voices in this clip, Ms Fry's and Mr Partridge's which suggests to me that the writers are undecided. Whenever Red John appears, he/she will disappoint, infuriate. I'm less interested in who Red John is than what he is, a the Guardian's(Law Enforcement)wrath visited upon his children, note the shows' running theme of inadequate, abusive, poor Fathering. Still Red John is also, in a quite confusing way presented as Jane's repressed psyche, his dopplega

  • Why do you think Jane didn't tell the team, even Lisbon, what Red John had said to him? (I'm not sure - apart from that it's obviously been a great device for the writers in S3 re demonstrating someone has had a genuine association with RJ. I'm hoping there's more too it than that!)

  • @mindygirlz My guess is that Jane wants to solve the Red John case on his own. Remember when Bosco took the case away, and how badly Jane wanted to get info on how the case was going? It's so personal to him, so Jane doesn't want anybody else getting in the way. If the police get to Red John, Jane can't kill him. And that's all he really wants to do. So... yeah. That's my theory. (:

  • What is the proverb?

  • Im afraid Lisbon is Red John

  • @Elitez9 hahaha defoo lol x

  • in what distance deeps or skies burnt the fire of thine eyes?

on what wings dare he aspire?

what the hand dare seize the fire?

  • @INTERPOLFAN17 distant*

  • Could the poem be referring like a team? Because if it is instead of it being RJ with someone as an teammate it could refer to him and Jane...

  • @TheSexyPotatoe well in the poem blake is questioning whether god or satan created the tiger so i'm not sure if it refers to a team...

  • * stares at all the argumental comments* O__O......RED JOHN RULES! I THINK HE SHOULD HAVE MORE SCRENE TIME 8D <3 <3 waves flag*

  • Whoa man... Whoa... I have to say that out of all the episodes done so far this is by FAR my favorite! this scene gets my adrenaline running every time i watch it... tyger, tyger... giggle

Oh how I wish Jane and Lisbon were together though...

  • omg az sie popłakałam lol

  • Kristina is obviusly dead .. Red John says: "Kristina send ...." the last words of kristina before she was mudered by RJ... well at least i guess but idk why it says "roll tide" this means that RJ was in the restaurant with patrick and kristina at the begining of the episode so in conclution RJ is more closely that patrick think. nobody thinks like me =P?

ik i need to practice more english xD

finally season 3 is coming ^^ this monday new episode :D

  • @RPGamer05X nope XD

  • @PharaChris hahah xD

  • Wanna see the truth? Look at my FB group called Walter Mashburn is Red John. I´ve written there everything. And it is logical. And lots of people approve it. You are going to be surprised who Red John really is.

  • @Calucifer13 Partridge works for him - EVIDENCES!!!

  • Roll Tide

  • Remembered and how Freudian misremembered the Blake poem from school. It's a poem about poet inspiration, Divine Creation(what immortal hand) and the discovery of savage nature(tiger) lurking in the dark psyche(forests of the night). I think the poem is a metaphor for the symbiotic relationship of Jane and John(the juxtaposition of their names is suggestive isn't it). I would be surprised(and disappointed) if it was a riddle though in pop psychology all criminals secretly wish to be unmasked.

  • has anyone got the riddle?

  • is season 3 the last season?????

  • first time i c him really scared,he must pee on him or something

  • I no who red jonh is..... You no when janes eating dinner with the girl and the waitress comes and they talk about ROLLTIDE!!! and at the end redjonh says ROLETIDE. What could mean the waitress is red jonh!?

in not sure tell me what you think!!

  • I really wish I could have seen the scene where Lisbon found Jane......

  • Note - Poe, by Willaim Blake.

First Episode, the "ghoul" is Blake.

Last Episode, we see blake again.

Only time we see him is when red john killings are faked.

    Coincidence?

    Here is some more.

Red John has been tracking Jane easily and has been on the CBI secure computer systems, implying hes a cop.

When the female asistant who killed bosco gets posioned, she smiles as shes taken away, she sees red john coming at her. then he posions her and she dies.

He was in a cop uniform.

  • so Jane was taken by Red John and the released but they didn-t catch red john??

  • @Zenta2007

The girl who get stabbed faked red john killings and captured jane with her boyfriend and a guy they were forcing to take part int heir slasher flick. Red John Saves his life.

  • @xeropressure oohh so she was the copycat...

    what a dilemma for Jane...

  • @Zenta2007 No, Jane was taken by people who were making a snuff(something like that) movie which contains real hacking/slashing of someone and they pretended to be red john to lure him there, then the real red john showed up.

  • @leetdps okay thanx xD

  • I TRULY BELIEVE THAT "THIS RED JOHN" IS A TOOL OF THE REAL ONE. I BELIEVE ROSELIND FROM SEASON 1 MIGHT BE THE REAL RED JOHN, OR MAYBE KRISTINA WHO HYPNOTIZED THIS GUY TO DO HER JOB. THE PERSON HYPNOTIZED MIGHT BE THE FORENSY GUY, WHO CERTAINLY SEEMS TO BE WEEK AND BEING RED JOHN WOULD GIVE HIM A LOT OF POWER, ESPECIALLY ATER BEING TRASHED BY EVERYONE, INCLUDING PATRICK.

  • Kristina Is Red John.....Fuck Rigsby n shitt...

  • RED JOHN IS THE FORENSY GUY OF THE JAPANISE GIRL HOME, THE "CSI" GUY

  • GIEF MORE MENTALIST! :D

  • It's Johnny Galecki from the Big Bang Theory.

  • i think Christina 's Red John! :S

  • HE KNOWS......

  • Kristina is Red John

  • RJ is the forensics guy check out episode 1 and this episode then compare the voices plus listen to what he says to jane every time they meet

  • RJ is the forensic guy check out episode one and this episode then connect the dots plus the voice is similar

  • no it isn Kristina,, i hope there's more than only this last episode but i still watch! :D

  • it´s Ribsby, Red John is Wayne...

  • Bruno Heller... You're a Fucking Genius!!!

  • What RJ said at the end, about Kristina?

  • Who is Red John!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????

  • @lalo5586 Brett Patridge.

  • Is that Kristina on the floor ??

  • No, the woman on the floor is one of the three who wanted to kill Patrick.

  • Red John = Rigsby

  • @franciscoJdavid Rigsby! It would be amazing! But everything is possible. It

said, I don't think that Rigsby is smart enough to be Red John! I don't mean he is stupid but I don't see him have a double game, he is already unable to keep his

    secret relationship with Grace!

  • @lilibell24 but then again it could be one big act, he might actually be capable of that sort of thing and he's just leading Jane on. but the whole thing with Grace just doesn't really seem plosible if he is RJ. I feel as if RJ, like you said, could have kept the secret or at least wouldn't have gotten caught up with a love life.

i don't know, like you said again, everything is possible...

  • @TheFoamfoam52 I think you do a very good analysis.Anyway, in this story, all characters could be potential Red John! That said, I Hightower's new chief suspect, or Kristina to be accomplices RJ! But I have no idea who is RJ? The

Season 2 ends here soon, and I look forward to the Next!

  • @lilibell24 thank you. and that's what i keep thinking, anybody could be RJ in this story...i've even heard of the theory as to Jane is RJ (don't think that's really true or at least HOPE it isn't). and Hightower being one of RJ's minions i thought of even BEFORE she came to work for the CBI. i thought, wouldn't it be cool if the writers made the new boss work for RJ then he would have even more insight into Jane's life...and i thought of Kristina clear back when Jane first meet her in season 1.

  • @lilibell24 (cont.) but as to who RJ is i don't really know who he is, I can only speculate and give theories. at this point i don't even know if the writers have figured out who they'll make RJ be. i guess we'll just have to wait for season 3 to get more evidence as to who the mysterious Red John is...

  • @JisbonProductions

Only 2 of the 3 wanted to kill him, "Grady" was forced.

  • @JisbonProductions

one of TWO. The third was forced.

  • @JisbonProductions

one of TWO. The third was forced.

  • @JisbonProductions You mean one of the 2. The guy playing the Red John doesn't want to kill anyone.

  • @SchokiEsserin I hope it....^^

    I hate that Bitch!!

  • @SchokiEsserin Everyone wishes her death. I don´t understand that.

  • really ugly mask!!!

  • How did he get out?

Cos one minute hes strapped to a chair, the next hes back at CBI HQ.. : /

  • @leahxlol i just figured that other guy that was being forced to try and kill Jane got him out because RJ only shot him in the leg. I thought it was weird that RJ didn't kill him but I guess by him not killing the guy, the guy can let Jane go once RJ has left...that's just my thinking

  • @leahxlol Remember, before Jane went in there he called Lisbon to tell her that he found the place where Wesley was posing in the picture. So I guess Lisbon and a team finally came and released him.

  • I love that that was RJ, and all, but my favorite part is when Lisbon asks him "are you sure he said NOTHIG? nothing at all?" *----------------------* she's just perfeeeect...

  • I am sorely disappointed with the writers. Sure, Simon had more oppurtunities to show us what a good actor he is, but when did Kristina Frye become more important than the rest of the regular cast?

S1 finale was brilliant - we got RJ AND development (in what is surely the most important aspect of TM -the main characters) of Jane and Lisbon's relationship/friendship.

Where was Lisbon? I expected Heller would at least let Lisbon save Jane THIS finale even if there is no Jisbon and he failed me!!!

  • @2poundsandMrsMuffin I can't seem to find anything wrong regarding the story so far (my oppinion), the characters are still there and still developing, yet a new one arrives, a girl that challenges everything Jane thought he knew about this world, and the fact he actually got to see her as something else for the first time ever since her wife passed away... Plus the fact that if you see Jane's last expression, he's actually smiling, so you guess it's cause he figured something out of the riddle.

  • @iTooob THANK YOU!!! finally someone feels the same as me!!! everybody has been saying that they hate this episode and they hate Frye and this and that and AUGHHHH!!! i thought this was an AMAZING episode...now i dislike Frye too but i don't thing it's bad they brought her in; i feel like they brought her back in to show that Jane is almost ready to have a life without his wife and child (not necessarilly with Frye).

now i thank you for not hating this story too :)

  • @TheFoamfoam52 You're very welcome, and, not hating the story? you kidding? I LOVE it :]. Yes Frye kinda of... you know sometimes but oh well, even though maybe it's better if she's with her cause I'm secretly in love with Teresa *shhh*!

  • @iTooob i know, i absolutely LOVE this story and everything about the show. the characters, the plot, the acting, just everything! in my opinion, the writers are doing a phenomenal job and know what they are doing. i dont think they'll let us down in season 3.

and your secrets safe with me ;) lots of girls would say the same about Jane put honestly i can't see him that way; being that is the actually actor, Simon Baker, is almost as old as my dad *shudders*

  • @2poundsandMrsMuffin Yeah totally agree. This episode was a total disapointment. Bad writing and nothing like the finale of the first season. It felt like a complete different show almost.

  • @schokomoerder Thanks for agreeing with me! Here's to TM returning back to form in the autumn. Oh, and I personally would like it with a liberal sprinkling of Jisbon moments!! :-)

  • Yep, I think its the forensics guy, Brett Partridge. Their voices are similar. Oh...and the poem is by William Blake, who also happened to paint a work called "A Brace of Partridge". I think Kristina might be another minion of Red John's.

  • I have to say I hope kristina is not alive I don´t like her....I WANT MORE JISBON IN SEASON 3!!!!!! :)

  • @littleCrazyChicken I completely agree with you I don't like Kristina at all

  • @littleCrazyChicken I hope it to! And if she's still alive, I would like her to be a friend of Red John. Because this character is not useless in "The Mentalist"! For pity's sake not a love story between Kristina and Jane, he would certainly more than that! The writers must absolutely get rid of Kristina found the team that made the success of this show!

  • @littleCrazyChicken You Kristina haters are sick. Everybody deserves to live. And she is not a bad person. Remember what Gandalf said to Frodo, when he said that he regrets that Bilbo didn´t kill Gollum? "Somebody lives and he does not deserve it, and somebody deserves life and he dies. Can you give it to him? Then do not pass sentences on somebody that eagerly." As I said, remember these words. It is not Kristina´s fault that JANE FELL FOR HER.Not for Lisbon. They´re friends w/ Teresa.Only friends.

  • @Calucifer13 OMG how old are you?this is a tv-show not reality remember!!!

And everyone has a right to have his own opinion ...I don´t like kristina frye and you like her that is okay this is your opinion ... I could say the same about all JISBON-haters like you are.....

  • Red John says "Roll Tide" because he's evil, as are all fans of that ungodly team.

  • dang, this was suspenseful when I watched this last night. I was like....

    !!!!!!!

  • there was like no jisbon at all i nthe episode. it was all kristina and jane. so annoying. i don't like kristina at all.

  • @vv1214 I KNOW. I was waiting for something Jisbony to happen like for Lisbon to come save him from RJ or something but no. Bruno Heller doesn't like me:(

  • Comment removed

  • And one last thing, what did RJ say right before he left Jane and tapped him? I listened over and over and still can't understand him.

Oh and the Menatlist ROCKS!! This was the best episode yet and my all time favorite show EVER. Can't wait for season 3 hopfully there is more Jisbon. Autumn can't come fast enough!

  • @TheFoamfoam52 he says something like roll tide, same thing kristina said at the restaurant to the waiter

  • @Lorek101 what does "roll tide" mean? i remember now hearing her say that at the restaurant but why?

  • It's really bugging me to not knowing whether or not Kristina is truely alive or not. And is she "with" Red John or has he kidnapped her. If she is alive my bet is on she is working with him which i don't really want to happen because it'll tear Jane up. What also bugged me is that they didn't reveal what Bosco whispered to Jane before he died. I really want to know.

  • @TheFoamfoam52 I'd be willing to bet that Kristina IS Red John. Look how small and feminine the hands are, and the voice is very feminine too. She went missing from a room upstairs very quietly too ;D

  • @BabyLondonPlush I also thought that too and it would explain a lot of things but then again RJ sounding feminine could just be a coincidence and Kristina knowing so much about RJ could just be because she is one of his minions. these are all reasonable explainations but I don't know for sure...I guess we'll just have to wait until SEASON 3!!!

  • @BabyLondonPlush I thought that, too! Plus RJ's voice sounds a little high to be male, but s/he is wearing a voice distorter, so I guess we will not know for sure until sometime in the distant future. Also, Kristina seems to like to get under Jane's skin. I mean, when we first met her in season 1 she made him cry, and now her little charade of going on TV and talking to Red John, as if she's kind of mocking Jane's actions so many years ago.

  • Red John is quoting the poem "The Tyger" by William Blake. The poem is about a ferocious and yet beautiful tiger. It is about the mysteries and the unknown and about what immortal power could have created such a predator. Basically it is about the comparison of the fierceness of a tiger to a burning presence in the dark forests. By Red John quoting this he could be referring to himself, saying he is a fearful being and yet majestic in what he does, admiringly.

  • @TheFoamfoam52 Touche' i couldn't have said it better myself. I've read the whole poem and it does fit pretty well. It is interesting that he only quoted the first stanza but maybe that was for time purposes. I guess it made more of an impact the way they did it.

  • @punkychickvj thank you, and i guess that could be true for time purposes since the poem is so long. but it does fit and i looked it up soon after i saw this episode and then gave my 2 cents on how it ties into the show. glad you agree, wasn't sure if it was just a long shot or not but high school english has given me a whole new outlook on literature along with entertainment now adays. lol. i can't help but analyze and see symbols in shows and movies anymore :)

  • (continued) or dies I really couldn't care less, she kind of ruined the last two episodes for me. I need season three, now.

Oh, and I also loved the poem they chose, it fits perfectly and says alot about RJ, in my opinion.

  • Okay- totaly random but WOAH, what is with his voice? Rofl; I was just staring at the TV screen in shock. This scene was so- *omg*. It feels really weird that RJ is no longer just a ghost. Jane was so freaked out ; I felt like crying, amazing acting by SB. I just still can't get over the fact that it was Red John who ended up saving Jane.. Just wow. Oh and I hope to never see Kristina Frye again, I do want to know what happened to her but thats just because it's bugging me, weather she lives o

  • okay...Does anybody knows what is red john saying? I mean, the meaning of his words... I don't think red jon's the guy of the forensics, it would be too easy to gess, wouldn't it? I don't know, I just hope that freaking kristina doesn't show up any time soon, she is not interesting at all, she's boring actually.

  • Gah, this sucks. First he says that Kristina would WANT to send her love, implying she's dead. Then he uses the present tense as if she's alive!

    Next season please!

  • is kristina dead?

    thanks

  • @yiing0 nobody knows.

  • @JisbonProductions well i hope she doesn't come back

    jane and lisbon belong together!

  • @JisbonProductions aber alle hoffen´s! ;D

  • @yiing0

She is up and gone like a fart in the wind

  • @yiing0 Why everyone wants Kristina dead?!

  • red john's voice actually seemed like the guy's from forensics who's jocking jane with his psychic, from the bedroom of the murdered girl..

  • End of The Mentalist? Are Season 3 coming?

  • @0m4ng yes (: in autumn

  • This was a chilling scene - especially Red John's voice!

  • okay is it just me or does Red John sound like the guy in the begining of this episode, the guy that was in the girl's bedroom with Jane...the guy who was like u need to leave so we can do out work...and tells Jane he's an ass...

  • @HaHaFoRu I think so too! He was in the pilot when it was a RJ impersonator as well and he was trying to convince them it was RJ. Then he got upset when Jane said it was a copycat... I'd have my money on him :) Plus, he irks me. He's irksome.

  • @MissStabler lol. I love the quote. And he does sound like RJ. I switched between this clip where RJ is talking and the clip from where the forensics guy was talking and they both sound very familiar. And I honestly don't see the point in bringing him back in this season when he had such a small part in the 1st season unless he has some sort of connection to RJ.

  • And what did this guy said about Christina? I don't understand! Can someone tell me? Please!

Thank you so much for uploading.

  • Im sorry what! why did he lie to Lisbon :( ugh I hate living in the UK!

  • This is freaking creepy! watched the episode this morning and have been on all day waiting for something to be uploaded!!! thank you but I think that might be RJ`s bro or himself cuz in the S1 DVD deleted scenes Jane said on his tv show that RJ has a lisp or something...and this guy sorta did....:)

  • red Johns voice is soo creepy... poor jane :(

    "Tiger, Tiger burning bright

in the forests of the night.

    What immortal hand or eye

    Could frame thy fearful symmetry?"...

  • @ChellieVegas William Blake :)
