And btw, I put some .010s on my love, and the tuner problem seems to be pretty much solved. The bends are smooth now and a pretty good thing is that my E1 doesn't snap anymore =P

So I won't be playing the 5 string blues anymore. Hell, I could better buy myself a banjo. ;)

I'm afraid I haven't got a fitting amp for this guitar, I'm still playing on a hired 15w Peavey, hehe, but I'm fixing to buy a Epiphone Blues Custom to create some real smooth sounds with this baby. I guess I could arrange some tunes for ya on Kyo's 30w Roland, it'll give you an idea of the nature of the guitar.

The only thing is, that my E1 string (.009) keeps snapping, and I already ordered some .010s, but although I haven't found the root of the problem yet, the fault 'MIGHT BE' in the guitar. That'd be a bummer, cause I would have to have the tuners replaced or something like that.

I know there isn't alot of information on the Höfner site about this guitar, so any question is welcome, naturally. ;)

Hey Paul.

Yes it is the Contemporary. I bought it a few months ago and I must say, in this price range this Verythin is absolutely smashing, the sounds are fabulously smooth and it allowes itself to be played awesomely light.
