  • @TheQais99 you mean using barbell instead of dumbell? that is a great idea...compound lifts such as bench press and bicep curl with barbell is a great way to add to strength!

    Yeah I know, what I meant by "you can do more stuff with these" is that you can do more different types of work out forms.

  • im 11 and i lift 10kg weights is it to much i do 50 press ups every night but with a 5 second break between every 10 and i do 100 sit ups in 20 mins

    am i overworking myself

  • @XMinecraftiaManX I did the same exact thing when i was your age. however, i wouldnt reccomend it. It really helps you to have much larger, and rock hard arms and six pack a few years later, but it makes your muscles slightly abnormal to be training really hard every night all throughout puberty, especially when you're first starting it. So, my advise to you is, do about 25 presses every night, throw in about 20 or so curls, and try to do the sit ups in 10 minutes instead of 20.

  • hi im 14 and i just use 10 lb dumbells and do 75-100 arm curls every other night to work my biceps and after watching these vids i think im over working or possibly under working them. i just wanted to see if someone could clear it up for me.

  • @AnotherRandomMan1993 Yes. You should be working out hard enough just one day a week so you won't have to do it more. I typically do one heavy day, and my other bicep day is for endurance.

  • k, makes sence, thanks, one more question. im trying out different training scheduals, and right now ive been doing split system training, the three day split, so day 1, pushing muscles, chest, shoulders, triceps, then day 2, pulling muscle, back, biceps, traps, and day 3, legs, then repeat, now is that too much training or will this give me good results?

  • @MetallicaFan900 I suggest making your own protein shake, rather than buying a big tub of powdered whey protein. Just throw in vegetables/fruits into a blender or juicer. Also, taking vitamins daily helps the muscles and bones strengthen.

  • @MetallicaFan900 Protein are composed of amino acids which are building blocks of muscle. When you work out you create tears in your muscles and the repair of these tears is what creates muscle growth and increases strength. It's suggested that people trying to build muscle consume 1.0 - 1.5 grams of protien per pound of body weight. For an adult male, that equates to about 100 - 300 grams and shakes are a good way to help you achieve this.

  • @JoshSchlottman Man i donno how to explain this bullshit for a year i use to train my biceps on a machine with 20 kg and i was building them faster but now i use a bar 20 kg because they dont have that machine any more can u tell please me if it makes any difference and can u please tell me ho to build biceps in short time.

  • @force2013 No, protein shakes are not good for the body. Later on when your older, if you stop working out, you'll see the permanent effects of protein shakes. If anything eat lean tuna from the can or cook it. You can make a tuna sandwich, but I prefer tuna salad. So do a hard burning work out, then eat tuna. Works for me.

  • @sirtheory1 Yes, the effects are great. Your arms will grow faster if you work out consistently and drink protein shakes. But like I said, I disapprove of protein shakes because of the effects when you get older. If you drink it constantly, and improperly, if may lead to a higher risk of a heart attack due to thicken blood. And yes, tuna can give you mercury poisoning. But thats if you digest too much tuna in one day. Also, spend the extra money to get a better brand of food/fruits/veggies.

  • @vnninjas thanks dude. i go to the gym about 3 times a week i do my arms mostly then a little bit of shoulders and back. but mainly my focus is on the arms. i am after getting a fair bit bigger since i started but im just wondering in order to speed up growth even more is it neccassary to do your arms 4-5 times a week or only 2-3 times and rest?

  • @sirtheory1 It depends what your routine is. If your lifting heavy to get big, or lifting light but more reps to get tone. Usually for me, lifting light to get more tone gets me sore. But I'm working on getting toned, so i'm repping 20 lb dumbells 20x each arm then rest 4 sets. The i'll work on my legs or something. I work on my arms every other day so they have some time to rest.

  • @the4567 yes i usualy do one day chest, back, quad's, calve's, and abs.

    than second day i do bicep, tricep, forearms, abs, quad's, and calve's.

    Did you know that since a muscle is small than their recovery rate is faster so you can work it more time's a week like forearms and calve's.
