  • I WANT THIS! why cant i have this??? oh yah, cuz i dont have 350 dollars. . .

  • :)

  • unbelievable. genius

  • this is indian ideas

  • Human is the best technology in the world that everyone can invent!

  • So what I'm getting is that our brain is the sixth sense. Knowledge, thinking, knowing or whatever you want to call it.

  • Science Fiction today will become Reality Tomorrow.

  • so basicly, we can completly stop thinking and processing now.

  • I think it's amazing and will be following their progress :D

  • She looks lovely with brown hair, dressed in black and wearing black boots. Like her boots, hope she is wearing white socks in her boots as she would look cool.

  • 6:42 fail?

  • @anitasseo: my suggestion is that u time travel to stoneage...wear some leaves around your waist and start hunting for food...if you truely dont want progress you wouldnt be watching this video using internet!...ur an absolute hyprocrite!

  • I simply trust the feeling of someone when I met them. I don´t need any-fuckin-thing else. Period.

  • We dont have power against, for instance, these telephone companies that sell our personal information. There´s nothing I can do; they do things illegally and they´ll keep doing them; at least here they usually have the support from the governments. If I may, I honestly think you should be in OUR side, not theirs...

  • Thanks to the ones that sort of agreed with me. These people should be looking for the cure of cancer or something like that. I mean not personally them, but come on... the funds, the money invested in this idiotness. With people starving hungry and dying. Waste of talent. Sorry

  • The only problem I have with her presentation is she calls it a Sixth Sense technology - completely ignoring REAL Sixth Sense that some of us have without that technology. This would be more of a seventh sense to me.

  • gargoyles

  • Gay

  • I just say it, btw i dont read replies. We have a biological sixth sense thats not a slab of technology. I dont know how this was forgotten in the world, but, using only yourself, you can sense if a person is good or bad, whats the right product, and way more than you can guess. I myself can do it. Its not hard and you dont need to buy anything. Its weird how forgotten it is though.

  • Why would you need all that?.. Probably to conquer the world, and world´s information, by the US, or the 5 people that are ruling the planet?... I mean I don´t need that, my country isn´t interested in all that... I dont need the phone in my hand, I´m not in such a hurry... I don´t want people to know everything about me and what I do. All these things are useful for the CIA and all that people.. Me, I don´t need it, I don´t care about it; I want to be left alone, my information is MINE!

  • @anitasseo The question isn't why, it's why not?! I do agree with you on the part that the personal information part is taking it a bit too far, but the rest is just amazing. It gives you access to information instantly that you would otherwise not get as easily or not at all!

  • @RaccooNooB Call me old fashioned... In my personal point of view, I´m not looking for that. I´d rather learn to make a fire in the middle of the woods if there are no stones around. Or stuff like that. I don´t need to wake up, immediately be connected to some virtual net with all the news and having the latest news rolling in my glasses while I poo -sorry- and the other hand just moving a finger telles me how are the sales going. That´s probably important for some massive enterprise business...

  • @RaccooNooB ... person or something like that. I dont mean to know everything from everyone, why should I? I want to be left alone and each time the phone rings and its a telemarketer trying to sell me whatever, in spite of the fact that I´ve asked a thousand times to the telephone company to leave my information alone and dont share it.... Pisses me off. Seems like the "powerful" people of the world -in fact, its happening- need all these things to dominate me, sell me things, etc. iDONTwantIT

  • @anitasseo Well that's kind of what I meant. I think it should make product information more available but not personal information. You do know that Telemarketers have to sign you up to a list of people they are not allowed to call if you ask them.

  • @anitasseo I like how you presume to speak for everyone else in your country.

  • @anitasseo I can assure you that there will be a privacy setting of some sort. Think before you comment ;)

  • @anitasseo So just to set the record straight this isn't about the public using this technology but that the technology is possible. No one cares about you and what you want/need appreciate it simply as an advancement of the human race.

@HeSpeaks7 This is a totally diffierent thing to a humans sixth sense. The only good example you made sixth sense is knowing if someone is "good" or "bad" which is completely objectionable. The other examples are simply common sense

  • when can i buy this?

  • how many of you heard etcettra instead of etcetera

  • CHECK OUR FUTURE SIXTH SENSE , GIVE IT A TRY

  • CHECK OUR FUTURE SIXTH SENSE , GIVE IT A TRY

  • Amazing , i Like it !

  • I don't see how this is that different from a smart phone. It seems just like a smart phone with a projector instead of a screen. And the word cloud on that guy? Seems like just another step towards killing human interaction.

  • Bull. Shit.

  • Well that would sure stop a rapist in his tracks.

  • So, any news on this?

  • her accent where is she from?

  • when is it hitting the market?

  • @007princekhan apparently there is no release date at the moment because there is a lot of work getting put into it, so it could take some time until we all know

  • Comment removed

  • it is future technology

  • Amazing!!!!

  • would be amazing for law enforcement officers t see right away critical information about the person they are dealing with...or ambulance/emergency people to instantly see any an all relevant medical data about a patient...conscious or not. brilliant opportunities for this tech

  • technological singularity theory anyone?

  • I am rather scared of this... Imagine that system immedieatly recognising your face, doing an internet analysis... Just as they showed at 06:55.

Awesome future we are headed into.

  • Is this for reals?

  • well

i´m not sure wehter I should love or hate the idea ... but guess the furture is around the corner !

Shit , where are the religous celots when you need them ? LOL

  • 8:25 Brain Implant in 10 years?

  • I love how socially arkward she is... she just told us she googles Tiolet Paper :D

  • I'll stick with the sixth sense I already have, thanks..

  • not unless you have an app, lol.

  • i want 2 to go

  • Combine this with smart glasses or smart contacts like those that Michio Kaku talks about so you no longer need the mirror and projector. And perhaps small sensor containing rings that fit on the finger tips could be used as markers so folks wouldn't have to have different colored paint on their nails lol.

  • Lol they should pair up with apple or Microsoft and creat sumthin awesome :D

  • cool student

  • dont we already have tooooooooooo much info in our brains! This will interfere with our natural function. What if it fails? And we have to pay to be controlled, this will be hooked up to a main switch and then who knows what will happen.Yikes

  • Incredible India!

    Intelligent Indians!

  • all of this technology is seemingly replacing us and our need to have a brain as well as social interaction. what privacy settings will be used and how will you deter the act of profiling via this technology. it does have practical applications, but misuse by law authorities and socialites as well as businesses to discriminate, profile, and harness biased opinions based on the information from this tech. which if used as a general trusted base for info. may lead to digital info tampering by evil

  • very interesting. the intentions are good, but in what direction will we take this technology.

  • Did she say, "brain implant"??

  • Unreal! I cant wait to see what the future holds for this technology. Question though. Who do u think will buy the tech. Microsoft? Apple?

  • Unreal. I cant wait to see wh

  • "who knows..? Maybe in another 10 years we 'll be here with the ultimate six sense brain inplant" YOU HEARD HER!!!! I don't want any of your chips inside my brains..

    Geez...

  • this video does not show us the 6 sense its just showing us the what we already do with phones and pcs getting info 24/7 from any position we are on earth! its the internet and if you believe the internet is the 6th sense then you are pathetic!

  • the 6th sense is the feeling like emotions love fear etc i thing telepathy is a sense too!

  • wel they always look and soung good at the presentations

by the way that it not the right name for a peace of technologi

  • iPhone5 could be release with a small projector. Is this call something in your mind?

  • Her voice initially discredits her. Where is she from?

  • @OFFICIALbrekfyst

Discredits her?!?!? Why would that be? Because her intelligence threatens you? I am sure there are a lot of people who are a lot smarter than you, "foreigners" included.

  • @OFFICIALbrekfyst

Your username initially discredits you. Where are you from?

  • @OFFICIALbrekfyst Are you for real? 'her voice initially discredits her'- Surely the fact that she's foreign and explaining something so complex in a foreign language to her makes her all the more intelligent?

  • minimum 10 years to come i guess..

  • hellooooo madam this is not your technology. It is Pranav MIstry who has invented this technology...

  • American corporations will buy this out..

  • So how about the projector emits a different wavelength, or color scheme that can easily be detected/ amplified using a specific contact lens? You know, so it can be used in broad daylight without any hassle... Just a thought

  • My boyfriend told me last niqht that I miqht have a 6th sense. Can someone messqe me who specializes in this. I wanna noe if it's true.

  • @ninjakannon I agree. It's just another marketing term.

  • They need a better presenter....

  • they got an App for this

  • implant ur own brain

  • transhumanism development for the nwo. time to wipe out 90% of the world and create a new one. good luck all.

  • It is a great idea and wonderful job, but still doesn't count as a sixth sense

  • "brain implant". Too much for me.

  • @lastmondaypast1 I'm pretty sure that was a joke, lol. These are MIT people, you know, and they (yes, even professors) like to joke a lot. It's like heaven for pranksters and trolls, lol.

  • @Tdog283 well people are getting electronic implants for locks and what not. brain implant might be a joke though.

  • ))))) fun

  • at the time 3:33 you can see a UFO in the picture of the White House

  • That's gay

  • Sixth sense technology

  • 6th sense topic is somekind of bullshit story ! You have to wait for the year of 2020 .

    Also ,

Keep it secret please , because IRS can TAX your sixth sense , if he knew you had it !

  • really u need to watch this...really

  • 6:45 - that's hella badass. lol ;p

  • Before vehicles were produced everyone walked, the car was released and in less than 50 years they became a need for society, the first computer was released in 1945 and now a computer is almost needed to succeed in life. i feel that this product shall be another required "Advancment" in society. and i know for damn sure i dont want a brain implant

  • if this is released for sale, many businesses will be closed down due to this product. No one will need newspapers, books, watches, tv's and many other products. Thousands will be unemployed and at the rate technology is advancing, this will become a requirement for people to survive and manage in the real world. Also if they choose to make this a brain implant as mentioned in the end of the video, many will be against it and be left behind and unable to take care of themselves.

  • apples gonna steal it!!!

  • I want to buy...Where?

  • This is really good technology but think about this after this product hits the market will watches be known to be worn on wrists? will news papers be a thing to read in the morning?will the market of paper towels be more competitive? will this demolish the fact of exploring new things???

  • i wish i live through this

  • Thats actually so sick.

  • this is absolutely amazing. This makes your active way of searching something into a passive way of searching. I dont think it will really work for its to bulky and unsteady atm. But every development is worth something. Hope to see some holographics combined with this:D. It might help if all products integrated something similar to a barcode so its easy access for the sixthsense to pick out.

  • This shit is amazing!

  • The technology has gone to its peak...

Hats off to Mr Pranav Mistry.

  • I would like one right now, thank you. I honestly dont want a brain implant, just send this current build of OS over to APPLE, they will clean it up, and then clean up the look a littlebit, and this whole thing could be for sale in about 6Months- 1year... NOT 10YEARS!!!!!

  • Now, go to someone who believe there are time travelers with us. Use that. Scare the crap out of them. Mission accomplished. (By the way, I sat in a 5 person group seminar about this thing. I was astonished at how remarkable things are going.)

Honestly, this is where our technology should be being advanced toward. NOT silly-bandz.

  • absolutely amazing

  • wow brain implants that will be amazing

  • By the time I have kids, the world will be an amazing technologically advanced one. Can't wait to see the world unfold at this pace :D

  • Is this for sale in the U.S.?

  • @dylanfleck Its only a prototype

  • awesome

  • She's actually acknowledging the invention and efforts of her student. Unlike a lot of the teachers who steal from their students and present their efforts as their own

  • @csnoopy i agree with him, that's very nice of her.

  • great.

  • This video shows she is such a genius and I want to see her lecture more.

Can I get another movie on the internet?

  • Another Indian ........genius!!

  • LoL great try at what we've all been waiting for - soon, yes soon we will have instant Wikipedia / Youtube / Google access! =D.

  • this is just like the omni tool in mass effect

  • Its funny how everyone tries to act like its just nothing and how they have to say somthing to put the invention down but basically its a great invention and its just amazing that something can do all those things. I mean could you complaining bastards do it?

  • It's not a tumor

  • steven jobs should buy this technology.

  • @BatistaR0X no, no he shouldn't

  • @BatistaR0X No thank you, turning it into iSense would be nonsense.

  • This is very interesting, but is hardly a "sixth sense" as normally defined (grasping the inner nature of things intuitively). I would call this a great use of interface technology & database access, but it's far from an expansion of human intuition or the nature of what it means to be human.

  • @cresidue Really? Gee do you think that an associate professor at MIT wouldn't know the defference? Come on. Let us know when you come up with something better.

  • @SuperFuckyourgod You mean another Moron In Training?! Your comment is hysterical coming from someone naming themselves "SuperFuck..." so just STFU & let the adults converse!!

  • @cresidue - But it's a step in that direction

  • @cresidue

and you get that definition from...?

  • @J3n50 It's called I-N-T-E-L-L-E-C-T and that definition is from Google:

    1. The faculty of reasoning and understanding objectively, esp. with regard to abstract or academic matters.

PS. You don't have to attend MIT to have knowledge or intelligence.... like you for example.

  • @cresidue if its called I-N-T-E-L-L-E-C-T why are you confusing it with a sixth sense?

If anything equilibrioception is suffering a trademark violation.

    also thank you

  • awesome approach !! :0

  • I invented this... some guy ripped it off of my neck when I was feeding the homeless.

  • This chick needs to catch her breath, jesus that's annoying.

Anyways, some grat things going on here.

  • proud to be an indian :) you rocking

  • This is the real Computer!!!., it's like youre buying the latest phones..haha., i want one!!., can i play dota in here?!? nyahaha.,oh.,!! playing counter strike would be the best., its like your doing the real Moves!! haha., the maker of this gadget is totally a GENIUS!!!.,

  • ummmm... This man is a genius and I foresee a world acclaimed award for complete human improvement. Simply amazing.

  • Be careful of things to be implanted in the brain. Sounds like the mark of the beast.

  • this good be useful in the army. im show my squad leader this video

  • this good be useful in the army. im show my sqaud leader this video

  • 3d holograms would own this primitive technology ;p

  • i can't believe OMG !

  • Amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzing

  • Power abuse and technology are a very bas combination

very interesting device, but wrong age for it.

Humans need still to learn a lot about them selfs

otherwise you'll find your self choosing a toilet paper which actually the top marketing company is telling you to buy, just because they paid enough for publicity

  • @MURGACHE humans dont need to learn a lot about themselves, they just need to develop their own sixth sense.

I have even given it a name: COMMON SENSE.

  • ye this is because of the nerds they should be destroyed bully them to death they destroy is planet earth with their invention

  • This technology will be forgotten. When I was a kid all I heard on TV was that we were supposed to be living like the Jetsons by the year 2000. If anything comes from this it will be 10 or 20 years from now. Plasma and LCD television was invented in the 60's and it only really caught on in the last ten years.

  • @CainmosniMirrored It still the 2000s. so it hasn't ended. Yes it takes a while for technologies to be in mass production. there's a lot of stuff I'm sure you haven't heard. It's all on the Internet. btw, USA doesn't have all the new technologies. broden your thinkings

  • Is that Xena?

  • happy face that the most rated comment is NOT about PORN. THANK YOU WORLD!!! :)

  • True Free energy devices exist,But the Oil companies want these technologies unknown to the masses,Get a REAL working magnet motor at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Big change is comming soon!

  • that's just a joke... :))))

giving out the information about new person you meet .. LOL sure ...

  • You know you went to MIT when...

  • Holy shit its like a computer interface in those sci-fi movies.FUCK!

  • i read some thing really interesting in a tech mag, and in a few years times, there could be something like this except instead of a camera on you chest, it would be like a electronic contact lens that directly sends the images to your eye. its so cool.

  • visionary...

  • The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

This will be very convenient and will allow easy access to many things in the world....... for now. The government will realize how powerful this technology is, and privacy will be a thing of the past.

  • where is this? i ain't seen no source code

  • Very impressive! when I play your technology ! I'm sure that your tech will be real world asap.

  • Suddendly deciding which toilet paper is a very relevant information for the world.

  • Are they trying to drive us to a brainless future? I am not looking forward to it at all!
