@jpgrygus sorry to interject, but consider a number line +1 = there is a God 0 = there is no God -1 = anti-God...we are all born at 0, we believe there is no God, then our parents teach us to be so, then you move to 1, you believe there is a God. However, there is no solid evidence for a God and it takes faith to remain at 1. In the atheist's case, we stick to logic and reason and we find faith of no meaning, so we return at 0. The weight of evidence lies with you.

Likewise theism can be defined either as belief in X or nonbelief in not-X. So when theists argue that atheism is also a belief they fail to see that theism can also be said to be a nonbelief.
