very good game...dark in many ways though..I played through it a few times might try to find it again one day. You can find it online...Some not so mainstream gamestores may have it. I traded in my old copy i got 30$ for it at the time it sounded great but i kind of regret it now. Though i played thru it 3~4x
Its alot of work but there is a way to beat foxface in the 1st fight. simply get to a level where your sp is high enough to be cut in half but still be able to fuse. even though it took me about 3 hours of straight running around and killing things i finally got it. minimum sp should be around 34-37. it worked for me dont know about anyone else. btw i found out after about a year that sp stands for sanity points fyi:)
@ademetal actually i just kept malice the way it is great way to get exp and 1 point for every element and eventually u get to fight those mask guys wich is fun! fyi if you beat them once they come out as "broken masks" so they die in one hit!
SH3 is the funniest but then again a really dark game because of the bosses and the battle music.
SH1 is the goriest and darkest RPG I ever played, and I loooooved it :3
SH2 is the most awesome one of the sequel. Great music, great characters, funny story and unlike in the original one, here the characters have voices.... but I still love all 3 of them <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
The graveyard in SH2 !? Are you kidding ? It's almost empty (a tree, some doors leading to empty rooms with a stone inside, that's not really what I would call detailed)... while the graveyard in SH1 is a pleasure to look at.
My only complain about this game is the position of the attack grid, it's so lean to left side that's it kinda hard to pinpoint when you need to press x.
@Mhalorn no it's more bland and the graves are all too far apart through seperate doors and they don't change whereas in SH1 they get birrge! which is fun.
I believe it is possible but I guess in this one you have to be beaten to get somewhere in the game. 'Sides, I think even if you did win, you'd end up with different results but in the next place in the game like the graveyard in this case. So instead of "Ha! You lost!" *Graveyard* It would be "No... I lost to you?!" *Graveyard*
It's a turn-based RPG for the ps2, it's got quite a dark atmosphere but it's funny, the battle system's similar to Final Fantasy but you need to press X on coloured parts of the ring to do actions and you need to keep SP above zero otherwise your character goes beserk until the end of the battle or you restore some sp =D
This is the first real game/RPG I played that took place in the real world and had a relatively dark atmosphere. Ever since I played it, I was hooked. I love the range of characters and such.
Another thing I like is the Battle Ring (if I remember it's name correctly. It is similar to battle engine of the PS1 Legend of Dragoon with it's aligning boxes to do combos. I like game mechanisms like that so it really doesn't feel like you're just sitting there. You need to forcus on the fight. :)
Pushing X at certain points reminds me of Legend of Dragoon and the Dragoon form thing. lol. Yeah, I saw you doing that thing against Bacon. He didn't.. die right? Though it sort of looked liked that. He seems like he's definitely got to be one of the main badguy's. lol. Also had that strong Revelation attack that killed you in one hit doing 200 something damage.

Yeah but the plot explains it.... It's different because he defeated the demons.

Which graveyard you prefer? SH1 or SH2?
descaliber 2 years ago
@descaliber honestly im more of a creepy loving guy so id have to go with SH1. the SH2 graveyard isnt really a graveyard anymore.

It's a plot loss, this battle you can't win against Fox.

i have to agree that this game and the others are not pushovers so don't expect to win easily

It's the first one I always choose as well. Combine it with various "Edge" spells, and Yuri becomes a force to be reckoned with during boss fights.
