Watching some innocent sucker get slaughter doesn't appeal to me. It's so overdone. This is why I watch shows like Dexter instead. It's immensely satisfying watching serial killers hunt down and butcher one another. I can enjoy my gore without the unwanted feeling of sympathy for the "victims" of said killings.
