You must mean Dolly Parton? She is the original, and she wrote the song. I like Lucie, she did an amazing job with this song. She sung it tenderly just the way Dolly meant it to be. Dolly wrote it for her mentor Porter Wagoner, they were breaking up and the split was heartbreaking for both of them.
