It's similar to Snuba except that there is no tank at the surface. There is a compressor constantly providing air to the divers below, which gives much longer bottom times.
this is accually a form of scuba diving. I did a 3 dive in one day but the first was shallow eanough to use this form. a long hose is connected to a regulator and the other end stickin uo in the air from the boat. then the next two wreck dives i did was with a tank.

Sure using a cylinder is just easier? this is just like commercial diving with an umbilical.
