GEORGE HARRISON , YO ARE TRUELY AN ANGEL'' YOU MAY HAVE MADE SOME MISTAKES HERE ON EARTH JUST LIKE ALL OF US, BUT JUSUS CHRIST FORGAVE YOU, BECAUSE OF YOUR GOLDEN HEART AND GIVING EVERY PENNEY TO THE STARVING PEOPLE OF BANGEDELISH!!! YOU ARE IN HEAVEN!!!!!!
No quiere protagonismos. Sólo quiere ayudar a la pobre Bangladesh. Ese es George. El tipo simple. El de las causas nobles. El sweet George. ¡Eterno George Harrison!
George Harrison and the people that took the trouble to help my country, I salute you !! You guys are heroes, and surely, Heroes live forever. Love you guyz.
I just had to say something about all the comments received on this video. Thank you, all. In fact,I teach at a university in Tokyo, Japan, and every year I show this video to my Economics students. I also introduce to my students the concept of "micro finance" and the great Bangladeshi, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, founder of the Grameen Bank. I think there is a big lesson in all this. The compassion of both men, Harrison and Yunus has universal appeal.
It is 40 years since Liberation Day and many of my Bangladeshi friends remember still how George awoke the world to the plight of this great nation. Joy Bangla!
Salute u, love u George. U felt our pain, our war , our dream...we r in debt to u. Untill and unless Bangladesh alive, we will remember u with respect, adoration and affinity.
Just shows the strength of Music . George Harrison , we Bangladeshis are grateful to you . You also fought the war for our independence with your voice . REPECT
. george harrison is only 28yrs old in here in 1971- Writing this great song and putting on this gig etc.. HATS OFF TO George Harrison for doing all this
Mangled Mess? What has spudmuffin99 ever done for charity. This was the first charity concert. Not the commercial success of the prima donnas at Live Aid, but the work of a musician who came to the help of his friend, Ravi Shankar, when the corrupt, military government of Bangladesh were content to let people die. George was a true humanitarian. Spudmuffin go listen to your Bieber CD's
George Harrison sings Bangladesh at Concert for Bangladesh, 1971. Harrison is accompanied by friends, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Bob Dylan, and others

I was at the first show which the film and recored are from. This was a tight band with keltner and ringo on drums, klaus vorrman on bass, and the great Billy.preston on Hammond. This was the first time Keltner met and played with Ringo.
I am a student of Bangladesh and I can't express my feelings towards George in any other way but with just a few drops of tears and appreciation. On behalf of the people of Bangladesh, we thank you and send you love and blessings from our hearts and prayers.
My impersonation of GEORGE HARRISON's guitar playing on "Here, There and Everywhere":
-
To lead a better life, I need my love to be here;
-
Here, (PLANK!) making each day of the year (PLANK!) Changing my life (PLANK!) with the wave of her hand (PLANK!). Nobody can deny (PLANK!) that there's (PLANK!) something there! (PLANK!)
-
There (PLANK!) running my hands through her hair (PLANK!) Both of us thinking how good it can be (PLANK!) Someone is speaking but she doesn't know he's there! (PLANK!)
George Harrison, the Beatle with the Golden Heart which made him the greatest, the BEST!!! We missed you so much!!! My admiration for you transcends all human limitations!!!
