  • This movie has killer cyberpunkitude. Kinda reminds me of "Resident Evil" now that I think about it. That dude 'Goat' from "Doom" is in it. Isolated buildings with horrors inside never go wrong.

  • Where would half the Direct to Video films of the 1990's have been without James Cameron?

  • Man I saw this on cable once and haven't seen it since. Sure its cheesy but I kinda liked it personally.

  • I miss the 90's......

  • This movie will tear you to shreds.

  • This B-class movie eats on breakfast most of modern sci-fi movies

other movies with similiar atmosphere are Hardware and Nemesis

  • Weyland and Yutani - their names, is corporation name from Aliens series :)

  • What do u think happens after we die?

  • @sluggo06 this is hardly the place for a theological discussion!

  • @sluggo06 We get eaten by maggots, and after a few billion years, the Earth merges with the sun which has become a red giant, and expanded to the orbit of Mars.

  • @jericoparazo Don LaFontaine, did over 5,000 trailers apparently. He got around.

  • dude where can i find the uk version of the movie online 4 free? cause i cant find the dvd in anywhere?

  • @qu7aker play are selling it for 3.99 delivered!

  • Brad Dourif is a god of Horror Films!

  • @Reaperluver Indeed he is!

  • @rachudante Actually the UK release is 111mins long and is the directors preffered cut. The US release is about 99mins long and is the shortest cut of the film. The Japanese laserdisc is the longest known cut of the film, running 120mins.

Is the spanish release the extended Japanese cut then?

  • @DarkAngel182

  • @rachudante you keep posting the same thing, I heard you the first time!

  • @DarkAngel182 Lo siento, no me di cuenta le di demasiadas veces a publicar.

  • Does anyone know the name of the narrator? He has got a great voice, I recognize him often in those old trailers.

  • I love movies from this era, kind of excitement and buzz that modern stuff just cant replicate.

  • "Homewrecker"

  • i only watcht hardware and fell in love, will buy on bluray. will check out this mov and others like it aswell. great stuff.

  • If possible get the UK DVD, as the US disc of this is edited for violence and cuts out the sub plot.

  • @DarkAngel182 the director is remaking the crow

  • this movie looks awesome!Brad dourif's in this?sweet he's a great actor!

  • I love that kinda movies... Some futuristics, some isolation in a building / spaceship, some android-technology, some great villain (hail to Brad!), some 80ies-feeling (facepainted guy), some cool colour filter (cold/blue), some cool femal synth computer voice ("Welcome to Chaank Corporations"), some cool subtle jokes ("wrong way" and the rubber chicken!!!), some great "F@kk we gotta find a way out"-moments...

Movie is G.R.E.A.T. Any others of its kind?

  • Checkout "Hardware", was similar to "Death Machine" but on a much smaller scale.

  • Thanks. But unfortunatly I seen that one. Others? I remember some older ones with Anthony Hopkins, SATURN5 or something. But not 80ies-style...

  • saturn 3 is a movie with a crazy robot

  • I know a great one, it's at my brothers house. If I find the title I let ya know ^__^

  • @Barbabapan

Yeah it's pretty cyberpunk-ish, though some people might disagree. Then again it's all about personal preferences.

Killing Machine's "monster" is a bit like Hardware's "monster" in the sense that the "ultimate killing machine" looks quite ridicilously stupid.

  • @Barbabapan You should check out Hardware (1990) and Syngenor (1990). Both have a similar feel to this movie.

  • @shoegazer500 Thx bro! I LOVE Hardware for its atmosphere and the music and all. Syngenor I'd seen some time ago, it was entertaining!

There's an asian robot movie also, takes place on an island that's controlled by an A.I or something. Gotta see it!

  • "Defend Systems"

  • This also a guilty pleasure of mine too. Loved it since i first saw in on rental back in the 90's.

I'll back Dark Angels view on this film, go for the UK DVD (which took FOREVER to come out).

Also a great film for Brad Dourif fans. I love his character in this film.

  • Hadookin!

    Great film

  • Cyberpunk! Looks pretty good.
