It has a spring loaded trigger that strikes a nipple with a percussion cap used by black powder rifles, pistols and shotguns

whats the specs on yer cannon?

it's 100 caliber, (one inch) I use 600 grains of Pyrodex® for propellant, I pore my own lead balls witch weigh 3 ounces, most shots are right around 1950 fps (pretty damn fast for a

ounce projectile)
