  • fantastic

  • I was at that gig. MT was superb! He is one of the best blues guitar players the UK has ever seen. It was an abslute pleasure.

  • Stephen Dale Petit (other guitarist) is awesome!

  • Superb! Why bother seeing The Rolling Dead when you can see MT? Can't wait, Bearsville NY.

  • Attaboy Watching, nothing dodgy about this, it's terrific.

  • "mecormany" is absolutely correct - MT "owns" Love in Vain" - as well as the live version of "Gimme Shelter" (witness the London version on the "Lost Brussels Definitive" bootleg set) - such a beautiful player!

  • MT did a version of this with Wyman's band that's on youtube. I listen to Taylor constantly and in my mind he's got carte blanche to play any song with a slide part in it. He owns Love in Vain, just an incredible talent. Thanks for posting these.

  • My own personal favourite MT performance is his guitar solo on I Don't Why (I Love You) possibly one of the greatest Stones lost tracks of all time?

  • Its funny he plays a Stones song that he did not play on !! Whos the other guy on guitar??

  • Mick did mention No Expectations was a very beautiful song. The other guy on guitar is Stephen Dale Petit and very good he is too.

  • YEAH, now this is GOOOD! This band fits Mick T perfectly

  • Intro now makes sense and Taylor's version is good.

  • The casual listener might not instantly recognise it, but Taylor has his own way of playing this song. He uses an excerpt of his own song "Never Fall In Love Again" as an intro to No Expectations.

Some might like the result, some might not. It's not a mistake. It's just different from the usual version (off Beggars Banquet).
