  • Oh god, I finally found it! XD

  • どなたか、fullでUPしていただけないでしょうか・・

  • the english one is too catching and funny to listen too XD

  • sorry about the double post but I FOUND IT OMG (but i don't have the mp3 cry)

it's about $45 if you order it...could someone order it? XD

Pride + Honoo, produced by Daisuke Asakura, vocals by Yuta Yamazaki

  • see if you guys have any luck with "pride + honoo". means pride and flame

  • I remember this show and a little bit of the dub opening (the part where they're yelling "fighting foodons").I also remember losing interest in the show a little after the main character dude found his father. It was a very strange show with a very strange plot (at least I think cause I don't remember to well).

  • @Jujichan006 Are you fucking kidding me. That cheesy opening made me happy years back and it was catchy. I don't watch a show about food and take it SERIOUSLY. I'll take the 4kids dubs over this any day. Half of the real food they showed isn't your typical meal in America either. Finally- this opening makes the main character look like a runaway cabin boy of some chef cruise :< don't get wrong- its my childhood so tons of opinions. if i watched it in Japanese growing up I'd probably agree.

  • Well... Im not sure about that, but when I was little techno sounded intriguing, although I guess it was where I lived, idk about children liking tech

  • Al Kahn says the english version is more appealing to American Children than the Japanese version???

    is he stupid???

children hate orchestral music and like techno!!!

  • Funny, the Japanese opening is more centered on the main characters, while the English one just shows a bunch of random monsters. The English opening was total ear rape -_-

  • Wow, this version's better than the US one.

  • In a way this show is like the satanic or devine intervention version of iron chef.

  • this opening makes the anime look at least a bit more epic!

I wonder why bistro recipe is pretty much dead now. I can barely find information on it or any episodes. how did you get this anyway?

    lol shiny cock

  • @TheAbridgedBros

Haha I know right? It does make it look more epic... I got it from this site that was up and running maybe 6 or 7 years ago. It was a site that shared information about different animes that were currently showing on Japanese TV and hosted videos of the openings/endings :) I forget the name of the site though. Something like "Dave's Anime Openings" or "Dan's". Not sure.

  • @cherrydropx00

Hey! Yeah that's the ending song name...the opening I believe is...something with the word "Pride" in it, I can't exactly read the Japanese very well. But I hope that provides you with at least some info.

  • im pretty sure shining ka translate to shining fire or there saying shining cum

  • @PokemonSubber

It's "Shining Heart" Says so in katakana on the bottom of the screen so....yup.

  • I LOVED THIS SHOW!!! ^///^

  • i heard shining cock o.o

  • We need more 90's anime!

Instead of anime that feature military-like groups, Tokyo chibi cat girls and anything else overrated these days.

  • i thought it was, "Shining Wok"

  • Is it just me or are they saying 'Shinning Crap'?

  • AHAHA! It so sounds like that...but it's "Shining Heart" XD

  • ahahah as for me, I was hearing "Chinese Cook" lol! X-D

  • They realeased a manga for this show a couple years back, but you'll (probably) have to search a few Japaneese sites to find it.

  • Wow, this looks so familiar. LOL Brings back memories.

  • Man this opening is 200 times better than that crappy opening Fox Box did. Where is the full opening to this?

  • I think you're missing the point here. As epic as it is, this show was absolute shit. Fox Box knew it, and they made an opening to play up to it. Just like they did with Samurai Pizza Cats. The original Japanese opening for that was horrendous, but the completely random American dub that was created made the show so much more fucking awesome.

tl;dr - This doesn't even hold a candle to the Fox Box dub.

  • i love this ^^ even if i already watch all this on tvb xD

  • who sings this and whats the song called?

  • i used to love this show x3

  • Holy fuck there's a novel going on in the comments!

  • This opening shows the show takes itself way too seriously D=

The 4kids dubbing is the song you hear at the cancan. "Infernal Gallop" from the opera "Orpheous in the Underworld".

  • i agree the song is pretty catchy :)

  • My Top 3 Favorite Foodons are

    -RapScallian

    -HogDogGonnit

    -Dim Sum Deluxe

  • 4kids did improve this Anime. I support that.

  • are you stupid or just a anime hater?

  • Wow, your response wasn't very well thought out, as I am neither of those.

  • Well actually you are since you are racist and close minded enough to claim that 4kids "improved the anime" I mean wow EPIC FAIL!!!!

  • No, actually, the close minded one and the racist one is the one who can't accept something.

4kids improved several series, 2 of those being Pokemon and Bistro Recipe. They ruined some, made some better.

You are close minded and stupid, as you can't understand that.

You are also racist, because a Japanophile is a certain kind of racist. That being, they are racist to all other cultures that meddle with their precious Japanese language.

  • lmao, i somewhat disagree with you

    4kids didn't improve anything

and "Japanophile" is only a coined word

and not wanting people to mess with things they created is normal, not racist

like Britons dislike americans changing their language, English, and say "we made it better"

it's a natural thing that people don't like their creation changed/destroyed, especially by foreigners

    nature's law my friend, nature's law =)

  • Yeah, but, you see, none of these people created this Anime! None of these people are Japanese either!

Thus, your entire comment is null and void.

They are Japanophiles, why? They aren't Japanese, but claim their language to be god. They wouldn't know shit about the quality of the original, BECAUSE THEY DON'T SPEAK THE LANGUAGE.

  • well, i can't argue that my argument was flawed to assume they were Japanese, but they didn't say they weren't, so it was a valid assumption

your argument is flawed...they didn't claim their language "to be god" for starters, and you too are making an assumption that "they don't know Japanese" you don't know that ;)

how nice of you to point out a flaw and use it

  • Hm, well. the likelyhood of a Japanese user using the English language Youtube, and actually typing in English, is slim to none.

Why? There is a Japanese language option, and they'd type in Japanese characters.

This makes my argument much more weighted than yours.

Judging by some of their comments (which are all in full English) and favourites, they are Japanese loving Japanophiles which love it only in Japanese and won't except when an English company does better.

    Yes, I checked.

  • no, i said, you are assuming they didn't know Japanese. i didn't argue they are japanese, cuz we don't know

who said only Japanese people can learn Japanese? Britons can too you know

and am sorry, but foreign companies tend to make stuff worse than make them better, anime, games, practically everything

  • That's blatant discrimination and biased. You, sir, fail.

Britons, Australians, Americans or anyone who learns Japanese still won't be able to tell if the Japanese have the superior quality.

Most series these days have been made better by localisation. Someone who doesn't know Japanese can't comment on the quality of the Japanese voice acting.

Hell, isn't it the Americans who make the higher quality scrolls, DVD releases and games these days when localising them? Yes.

  • emm, yes they can. in case you didn't know, the majority of jokes used in the original aren't used in dubbed because they won't be funny anymore, making the original better, hence superior in quality

again, you made an assumption they don't know Japanese

emm, no, american versions are only accepted because they're using English, which is an international language, if you ask anyone who knows Japanese and have played/watched both versions, Japanese is the preferred =)

  • Nope, that just means there's a culture block. Geez, get an education.

And, no, get with the times. English is the preferred language, even in Asia.

  • So...wait, let me get this straight. You're saying that English is the preferred language in Asia, but a Japanese person typing English characters on youtube is slim to none?

  • lmao, nice, you've identified another flaw in his argument xD

  • I wasn't aware that Japan was the only country in Asia, or has Japan suddenly increased in size?

  • Oh...really, there's other countries in Asia? Gee, I never KNEW that!! Japan is a part of Asia, and you did say "English is preferred in ASIA" therefore, how can you argue with my comment? I'm only repeating what you JUST said.

  • You're making it sound as if Japan is the only country in Asia, are you not? Being in Asia =/= You know Japanese.

The Japanese dub in their own language, write in their own language, and they are pretty much independant. However, the rest of Asia doesn't speak Japanese, does it?

In Asia English is still a localised version. Hell, the arcade version of Initial D Arcade Stage 4 was localised in Asia, Hell Girl (2 seasons) have been Eng. Dubbed there too.

  • No, I never said that Japan was the only country in Asia, you are the one putting words in my mouth. All I did was ask you to clarify your statement and you're completely dodging my question, and arguing with a point that I never made! The funny thing is, I agree with you on most of your points but you're just going on and on for the sake of making an argument.

  • its alot of trouble to change the whole opening into japanese so they just put subbing in the opening so they understand the song

  • lmao, culture block? no, mainly because the joke loses it's meaning after translation - making the translated versions crap, be it they translated or just decided to fit a random joke in.

English preferred in Asia? wow, looks like you need education - English has spread to the most countries, making it international, it is NOT the most spoken language, so it isn't the most preferred - just because it is the most widespread language does not make it the most preferred -FLAW

  • Yes, culture block. Just like Japan won't be able to use a joke concerning out culture, we can't use theirs.

Yes, English is preferred in Asia. There A LOT of countries in Asia my friend, and Japan is one of the smaller ones.

    It isn't a flaw.

Hell, did you know there is actually 2 versions of a lot of English dubs? A lot are produced in Asia as well, but never make it here.

  • emm, no? it's the fact even a regular joke loses it's meaning when translated

well, largest one in Asia is China, they all speak Mandarin, making it the most spoken language in the world, English is preferred? lol, please, tell me you're kidding

of course it's a flaw - basically you implied that just because it's most widespread means it is the most preferred, that is not right

the reason for dubs, like i said, is because it is the most widespread

  • The Chinese localise in English if they can make enough money from it.

  • emm, no they don't?

  • Pfft, this proves you know little of how China works.

  • lmao, and you do?

from people i know that live in China, they use Mandarin, am fairly certain that it dominates in China, English is just used for international conferences

  • I have to agree with Dante...Even in America we have a large amount of Chinese speakers, and China out numbers us by almost a billion people. I understand that the media does focus on the English language but it's not the most widely used. It's much more challenging for a Japanese/Korean/Chinese speaker to learn English than it is the other way around. It might be preferred to teach English in schools because it IS popular, but the most dominant language in the world is in fact Mandarin.

  • thank you, for you support =)

and to not ruin your video, i will stop with the arguments :D

  • Lol it's okay! I love a good argument here and there so go right ahead if you feel like going at it :P If I cared I wouldn't have intervened haha

  • ahahaha, i see xD take a look at this, some stupid idiot started arguing that the guests in Super Trio isn't speaking Cantonese, but rather, speaking "honkonese" and 2 people have already picked up from where i left off xD lol

    YouTube /watch?v=7BD2SiQoWFw

  • HAHAHA! I am reading it now...that guy was either completely fucking with you or is a serious retard *sigh* XD

  • haha, i say retard since he never admitted he was wrong xD

well, am open to dubs too, in fact, some animes i've actually watched the Chinese dubbed ones only, but i guess Chinese and Japanese languages have a lot in common, so the meaning retains in a lot of them. and some i've watched English dubs alone, but i just have to disagree with him with Bistro Recipe

  • Ahhh I see :) I don't know much Chinese but I know that Japan did use aspects of Chinese characters to form their own written language so I guess it is similar in certain ways. One of my Japanese teachers told me he communicated (although very difficultly) with a Chinese speaker using only kanji! So you're fluent in Chinese? That's really cool! I know a little bit of Japanese but not enough to say I'm fluent at all ^^ I'd love to learn more someday though

  • ah, yeah, it will be difficult in terms of speaking, since the pronunciation for certain words will have changed a lot, "dream" being one of them.

am fluent in Cantonese ^_^ i really want to learn Japanese though, but before, i never found anywhere that teaches it, and now that i have, am busy with university work -.- *sighs*

  • Oh-- and I agree with you on your ORIGINAL argument during this conversation. Not many dubs improve the original Japanese show. However, I'm open to exceptions like Cowboy Bebop for example. I really feel that if you're going to dub an anime, you have to do it right. I do give props to these productions but most of them are not for me. I don't mind as long as they provide the sub along with it. But some companies DO literally rape some anime, like One Piece, Digimon and Bistro Recipe.

  • 4kidstv is off the air now. It might be cause their shows were played too many times like Sonic X.

  • It merged with the CW to form CW4Kids.

  • Fox Kids and Kids WB, we harldy knew ye.

  • Even 4kids couldn't ruin this show. It was Dang awesome!

But I do wish they used this opening

  • I miss this show in the US. I never got to see the last episode.

  • last episode was pretty cliched, chase beat the main bad guy, everyone is happy, chase becomes a king, he got bored and ran off on another adventure.

  • I still want to see the episode, without you spoiling the ending.

  • Amen brother!!

  • This video needs more CRAB QUAAAAAKE.

  • Agreed -_- I say, why not just leave the original song in there, it's less effort! However, it's not 4kids that actually changes any aspects of the anime, it's the company whom translates it.

  • I would love to see FUNimation dub this anime. Betcha they do it better than 4kids.

  • Yup. They would even translate this song.

  • could some one PLEEEASE tell me the name of this song and who it is sung by? all i could read off of the song title "fried"

  • Unnnfortunatly I can only read katakana as well and I'm not as versed in kanji...mmm sorry, you could try plugging it into google? Might find some answers there.

  • i like the English opening better

  • you're kidding, at least i hope you are

  • Who cares what he/she thinks? You're not gonna change what they think.

  • i was just saying i hope he/she was xD lol

i don't intend to change what he/she thinks

  • haha sorry, drunk last night X3

  • no i wasnt, the English one is awesome!

  • lol I think they're both pretty funny and bizarre :P

  • just like the show!

  • lol, ok...

  • This already beats anything 4kids has done!

  • うぉぉぉww

    懐かしいww

    やっとみつかった・・・

  • This anime looks awful, the japanese intro song is ok though.

  • Wow, the original opening is all Serious Business compared to the English version! (Which is totally laughable.)

Monster Rancher, Pokemon, Digimon, Flint the Time Detective, Mon Colle Knights, and even Fighting Foodons....I love them all!!

  • Not going to lie, the Jap opening is much better. Too bad they never actually rteleased this show on DVD, it was the best

  • I'm hungry...

  • i started watching this anime when it came out, but i was too busy i couldn't keep up. personally i like the art they used in it.

  • AHHH....The english ones better.I had no idea it was an anime.

  • now i remember this this was an old anime on the foxbox b4 it turned to crappy 4 kids with bad anime dubs like sonic x mewmew and one piece

  • the meatballs are kawaii

  • Do you have the ending song to this show? the song was called White Pearl.

  • Naah, unfortunatly I don't :(

  • love the song and the food look at all that food

  • Looks absolutely delectable.

  • ... I like this song...

  • KILL IT WITH FIAR.

  • Meatballs>All

  • Hey does anyone know what the name of this song is?

  • MUCH better then the english version

  • are you kidding?! the english one was sooooo friggin awesome, this sucks!

  • You are entitled to ur opinion but ur wrong because it is ur opinion not mine.

  • good job making absolutely no sense.

  • '_' whatever

  • whatever indeed

  • cant we just stop talking?

  • cant we just stop talking?

  • no, we may not

  • Shut up. Bottom line:

This opening is cool and more action-esque.

English opening was hilarious and awesome.

    So stop bickering.

  • don't tell me to shut up you freak

i know the english was hilarious, but this just flat out sucks. its just plain awful.

  • haha retards jpn opening is the best newayz

  • Haha geez guys, it's just an opening for an anime, no need to get all huffy!

  • yeah, name of song and artist appreciated, or if better, tell me where i can download it

  • I didn't reply to your last comment because I honestly have no clue, you would know better than me. I have a suggestion, type in some of the lyrics or the anime name and you'll probably get a few hits.

  • lol, i've tried, bistro recipe, fighting foodons etc, and cant find it, i just thought some1 who has uploaded it might know xD

  • I wish that someone would create Fried Ricer for MUGEN.

  • What is the name of this song and the person singing it???

  • I love the meatballs lol

  • I love this series....I was really mad when they took it off the air. I don't remember there being 25 episodes, I remember only a few episodes and then they pulled the plug (way too early in my opinion)

  • i think ther were more i still don't get the plot

  • The US intro was better... ;)

  • no it NOT!

  • OMG this show is funny! xD I've only seen it a few times on FOX BOX in English version, though now it is called 4Kids, very gaaaaaay.

I like the guy, lol, very seay! xD

  • i seen a few eps of dis on a TVB channel, n now, saturday mornings, i fink they actually took away da anime part =( n b4 they did dat, da anime's were all for 3 yr olds like about some dogs >_<

n btw, ne1 no wot dis song is called and hu its by?

    thanks

  • lmao! i actually quite liked dis anime, but i neva got to watch the whole series cuz it on wen i was on my way bak from skool to home =(

da only bad fing is, da opening has real foods in n they dont even look gd, shudda drew some instead =/

  • this is kinda a ripoff of pokemon because they say their names and fight and yu gi oh because of the cards

  • Aren't all Creature Controllers ripoffs of somewhat?

  • I remember this show it was called fighting foodoff in the u.s

  • No, it was called Fighting Foodons: Prepare for battle... I should know, I'm An x-fan.

  • Please, if your a big fan of this show like I am, try to get some people to watch it. If the ratings are good enough, this means if there's enough good comments about the show, they will put the entire season on DVD. There were a total of 26 episodes (duration: 25 min). I want this show back on the air (& on DVD) just as much as anyone else. Copy and paste this message to any Bistro Recipe/Fighting Foodons clips, pictures, blogs, &/or websites to spread the word.

  • I missed this show! Stupid FoxBox took it off the air. Now these days, a lot of the Saturday morning cartoons are all crappy (like Viva Pinjata). Damn 4Kids TV! Damn them all!

  • i watched the chinese dubbed version...i have chinese satelite tv. they aired it TWICE!!! LUVED THIS SHOW

  • You are lucky...I envy that!

  • Wow, this is addictive to listen too.

  • Beeerning Fiire!

  • o man, I almost forgot this show. wven though it was dubbed by 4kids I stil liked it :D

  • i actually forgot!! i remembered when i went to 4kids site and i realized that this was one of the good dubs.

  • this show is about you know, food fights.

  • in my opinion all though this is a cool japanese opening, but this is'nt the kind of opening to fit a Kid's anime, an opening like this works better with Naruto or Rurounie Kenshin.

  • I know what you mean. Naruto has misleading openings too, but I think Narutaru has one of the most misleading openings I have ever seen! It makes the anime look good for kids and fun when the show itself is about rape, kidnapping and murder, and almost every characters dies in that show.

  • its probaly the only way to get veiwers...well, that are little kids...

  • OMG. I've been looking for this song for FOREVER! (Around 5 years?) What's the title and who is it by? o.o

  • If you translate the title, it says "Bistro Recipe." As for the theme song, your not going to be so lucky finding it if you do not understand Japanese. You'd be wiser just searching for the soundtrack or finding an interpretator to translate for you.

  • OMG! Thankyou i've been looking for the opening for 4 years, and the ending!

  • Could someone tell me what's the name of this song please??

  • the english version is even worse than one piece dub. thanks for the upload

  • Awsome, I never saw the japanese intro to Fighting Foodons, way better than the english opening which was a parody of a famouse american/French song.

  • This one was horrible, what are you talking about?

The fake fire, and all those pictures of food dishes?

    Corniness on a stick.

  • You were right the opening is very insteresting and way different from the english though I believe this opening doesn't really suit the show.

  • yea, this one focuses alot more on action, while teh english one was just kinda had a 'lets have fun!' theme going

  • YAY! I've wnated to see the Japanese opening for so long! Thanks so much!

  • You are most welcome! :D
