1. When Lunastra came to area 6, on 0:24, how come she doesn't have her fire aura? Did you poison her first, or did she really not have it?

2. Will the LS Frost Ripper work on Lunastra in High Rank (felyne elder)?

3. How much defense are in each armor, and how many altogether?

is it very rare to fight him in the desert i'm on star level 5 quests for lunastra is the eager cleaver or dark blade good for killing?

@stormbladecolling It is not rare, there are 2 different quests for Teo, one in the volcano, and one in the desert.

You should take the dark blade, but bring an armor that gives either sword sharpener or sharpness+1.

@Querpecoman Like Eskalial says, Tigrex Tooth will work. Just watch your angle, if you're only on green sharpness and you clip the wing going for the head, you bounce. Its worse with Teo cuz his swipe has so much more range, he generally nails you with it if you bounce there.

Another difference is when they do their tail whips, Lunastra's Tail causes explosions and Teostra's does not

Water is not at all effective on Luna, it's the other way around, Teostra's second Weakness is water Lunastra's is ICE, and Kushala armor would be the Best set to Face both....

@Leafall In fact, I do take damage from these, but if you make the Luna/Teo flinch, they'll temporarily lose their aura. ;)

@bobbypie169 yes, you have to use a dragon elemented weapon to break his horns.

@bobbypie169 you can just break the horns even if your weapon has no elemental damage or something.... just hit it in the head and sooner or later, you'll just break the horn then, go with the tail for you to have a teo or luna's tail.... :) Good luck....

He is weak to dragon and water (dragon is his nemesis).

@azeroth131 Oh in order to get them you need to beat the tigrex urgent quest for the elder lady and after day the cave open and then just mine the rock dat in the cave and if u get dark piece or dark stone all of the [black] weapons unlock black scythe quite easy to make lol just need material from that rock. But i got way better stuff now smolder dragonsword :D

Yes, I record with my computer. I use a program named RemoteJoy Lite.

But this method has 2 downsides : First, I had to install a custom firmware on my PSP. Second, It takes a lot of space on the hard drive ( around 10GB for 30min before edition/compression)

I'm taking weapons/armors that can be made at the level of the quest and since this is elder teostra and felyne elder lunastra, it is not yet possible to have atlantica.

Also, if I were to take G ranked equipment, I'd use Red dragonsword G.

a hint to the "close boom" and long boom, when he/she uses it go to the side of her and keep walking to her belly, that way they cant touch you and allow imidiet attack on her again in secounds, i found this tactic as my cat bombed me and i flew there XD i got up thoguth im dead but didnt die lucky me XD

@pkrangermk yes it is, but it will take several rounds. It is long, but doable :) never abandon, even if you're close to failing the quest since elder dragons keep the damage. So just redo the quest until they are dead.

yes. Felyne elder quests ( if you read what he tells you ) are in fact guild hall quests from HR6. So it is like High Rank.

no. G rank and High Rank are commonly confused. The reason is, in MHF2, HR4-6 were called G-ranked, so many people still call them G rank quests.

But Felyne Elder's are HR6, so High Ranked. And the monsters are just like you described : same stats, except life.

to kill her, it's like any other wyvern, so take the quest again, she'll have low hp and a missing tail ;)

She keeps damage fight after fight, until you kill her.

you should use the smolder dragon sword. It has great dragon attribute and raw damage. Plus as much as the sycths are aesthetically pleasing they are harder to control compared to normal long swords.

Yes, you can cut their tail, but don't go all out on them from the beginning. There is one requirement to meet : drop their health below 40%. It's the same with daora.

easy way to tell if fire sneeze attack is gona be far or close is if the little things that pop up around it are different colors =) red means close and yellow means far, works for both luna and teo
