  • First time you used AE? Wow! Great result!

  • good work!, rotoscoping can be pain in the ass :)

  • Brilliant! I wouldn't have noticed one way or another (as I have a life) but, looking at your vid and explanation, it looks great. Sit, chillax and be proud. :¬)

  • Nice Job.

  • Dude, really cool, nice job

  • Your stuff is great because of great attention-to-detail.

  • That was actually pretty cool.

  • well done!

  • Great job there. Quite a tricky job for your first after effects experience.

So, where did you get the shot of the door with no reflection? Did you just reshoot it?

I thought it was clever anyway.

  • I made a still image of the empty door in Photoshop by removing reflection by painting myself out ( and using the rubberstamp tool etc) Doing that to a single frame is easy, but the tricky part was getting it to last for several seconds.

  • That's cool

When I saw the vid I didn't notice anything funny with the door in the first place

  • never saw it bro! you are a perfectionist for sure!!

  • Pretty cool, but I hadn't noticed the reflection at all.

  • Good then it worked! :) The problem I kept finding was when the reflection was there it took your eyes away from watching her in the car.

  • The reflection didn't take my eyes away....she's good looking and a good actress!

  • Good thing you went to the trouble to eliminate the reflection otherwise it could have been the YT version of the door knob in The Matrix.

  • awesome!! :) I didn't think that scene felt weird at all the first time I saw it, so excellent work there buddy! :)

  • Awesome. If only they extended every week to eight days, I'd be learning that program, too. That was well done. Thanks for sharing this!

  • You are "adorably nerdy". - Hari

  • Woohoo After Effects!!

    Nice job!

  • very cool

(and so well done it never occurred to me that there should have been a reflection when I watched it :)

  • thats called nitpicking... but being nitpicky is good
