  • Spend at least 3 years learning intense theory or goodluck writing any half decent riffs

  • @s3177000 Erm...few things to say:

    1) That comment is bullshit. I have next to no theory knowledge, but can write good riffs.

    2) This video is almost a year old, and the riff is rubbish, so your comment is pretty much useless.

  • @19skate93 lol no theory knowledge? Goodluck

  • @s3177000 Are you honestly saying that writing good stuff is impossible with no theory knowledge?

  • @19skate93 Not saying it's impossible, but really, be realistic here. To write truely mindblowing stuff theory is vital. If you're wanting to write some shitty generic-beendone1000times riffs (partictuarly bad metalcore, musically worthless trash with zero value like BFMV/A7X/AA etc) and attract a fanbase consisting mainly of aids riddled 13 year olds with undeveloped brains then go ahead and be my guest to not learn extensive theory.

  • @s3177000 Don't agree but whatever.

  • sounds cool :D

  • UG answer- Yes it's generic, but it's not bad generic. How did you plug your guitar into your PC?

  • @Mylastdawnofficial Thanks for the crit.

And I found a cable in my house that has 3.5mm jack? (same as on the end of iPod earphones) on each end. I just plug one end into the 'headphone/record out' part of my amp and one into the microphone socket of my PC. Then use Audacity to record me playing.

  • pretty sick.

  • @skateboardingrocks07 Thanks man :)
