I am disabled from a torpedo load crushed my right knee otherwise I would have stayed in

  • @ncrdisabled Chances are we were both in Holy Loch together. I was there on the Kamehameha. We patroled out of Scotland from 83-86.

  • @MrRyan1962a Yes I was there when you were there I was on the gold side I was a Ic 3 (ss) trained from the Stonewall Jackson and went to a MK 19 school then went to the Andrew Jackson I was a IC2 (SS) when I left the boat after a torpedo reload accident when a chain broke and crushed my knee I got out in 87 as a disabled vet ruining my carrier . I would have been a lifer instead 7.5 years I had reenlisted and was a froked IC1 (SS) I still remember those great bars and the boat to ediburgh

  • @ncrdisabled @MrRyan1962a - I thank both of you for serving on US submarines. I have pictures, and, a 1970 Northern European Cruise Book from the USS Jallao (SS-368), from my Dad. I also belong to all three of my (late) Dad's submarine websites - USS Hardhead (SS-365); USS Cobbler (SS-344); and, USS Jallao (SS-368). I, personally, remember very little, as, I was a little kid then, but, these pictures stir memories. Take care, both of you! :)

  • Wow that sub had more room to get around than I remember! I did not serve but did work on them some. Thank You to all of you who did and are serving our nation.

  • To Martian74 - Say that to a submariner sometime - you must have gay tendencies to even think that and you're most likely a stay-home-with-mommy-draft-dodger - your a punk-ass-weasel!

  • Too gay being locked up with all those guys, it looks like a jail except you have to work.

  • Much more polite than a jail.

  • lol

  • I made 5 patrols out of Rota Spain in the early '70's on the George C. Marshall SSBN 654

  • *(SSBN)!

  • They were good days -- USS GLENARD P. LIPSCOMB (SSN 685) AND USS ALASKA (SSBHN 732)(GOLD)

  • life on a trident was sweet even then, boomer fags!

  • ahaha looks like a porn towards the end.
