Though it is true that the original communist/socialist revolutionary ideas involved violence to achieve victory, it is still miles away from Obama's political agenda which involves some socialization, compared to half of Europe for example where socialized healthcare is normal.

I've been to Mexico, South America, and I'm also goin to Europe soon....Mexico is shit and I have family there....that's why my family LEFT and thats why Honduras kicked out they're president who had wanted to infringe upon their constitution! Great Britain can't even cover their BREAST CANCER PATIENTS! The few American states who have tried a single payer system have failed epically. Who's to say I need to have a little more decency?

Two weeks ago, I broke my arm. Guess what? I went to the hospital, and in exchange for a 2 hour wait time it didn't cost me a CENT. Quality health care? We have private health over here too, we don't need to go to the United States.

The U.S. has an 8.4% higher death rate than Canada, lives 3 years less than the average Canadian and Canada is ranked 3rd in HDI U.S. is 15th

We get more immigrants than the United States because in Canada they do not feel pressured to assimilate into our countries culture, unlike in the States. We do have illegal immigrant problems and our violence is still relatively under control as you yourself mentioned earlier. Also, why would immigrants want to live in the U.S. if it is more violent anyway? Most immigrants are trying to escape violent areas in the first place.

Study history, the left wing in America didn't think Hitler and Mussolini were so bad until the war broke out, and then after the war the left picked up the communist propaganda that said Hitler was right wing. Hitler was more of a Fascist than a socialist. In socialism, the government owns the means of production. In fascism, the government doesn't own on paper, simply controls production through big gov. But what you fail to take into account is that after WWI there was a very, very strong isolationist movement in the States. People were so horrified by the first World War that they wanted to let the rest of the world fend for itself. Then, Pearl Harbor changed all that.
