You can see where the short happens on the video card....on the solders for the 6 pin connector. You can literally see the spark jump from one pin to the other.

@MtnXfreeride your psu has over current protection. it should be fine. i had a card blow up on on me last week. the 8 pin dip sparked and caught on fire.
