  • Awesome! Indian songs are great! from a french canadian

  • Toniusa83...can you just edit this title to "BRITISH INDIAN" or at least "PRE-PARTITION" to make everyone stop bickering? We all know it's from the British India pre-Independence Era, because Pakistan did not EXIST in 1946. It's pretty foolish to even suggest that anything pre-47 is Pakistani.

  • Forget the era or country of origin. Just enjoy , the melody, the soft music, the divine experience. Count your blessings that you are fortunate to enjoy this classic song.

  • super song from a super singer !

  • india pakistan friendship zindabad...

  • Thanks youtube U PEOPLE HAS PRESERVED THIS SONG FOR GEN NEXT

  • THIS is INDIAN song, PAKISTAN DID NOT EXIST DURING THE MAKING OF THIS SONG.

  • When will we recognize that we are one people divided by the pains of partition and stupid wars.It does not benefit the common men and women of both countries but politicians and Western arms manufactures. It is about time for moderate Pakistanis and Indians to

bury the past and come together and form a joint India Pakistan friendship organization working towards the benefit of both nations and the upliftment of the millions who live in poverty .

  • no wonder Britain ruled us for 250 years and then could also divide us when they were done because it seems that we all love to fight....... stop it!!!!....... its like both the countries are driving a car towards the future but facing the past........ why does everything have to boil down to 1947 partition??...... that happened and nothing to be done about it now... grow up people, understand and respect each other.... and then world will again look towards east....... thank you guys.....

  • @saigalbakhat123 and ukjsydney.........VERY WELL SAID. Thanks.

  • I am an Indian.Song is from ANMOL GHADI an Indian movie of 1946. We Punjabis should sincerely respect and recognise political boundaries created in 1947. That does not divide our hearts, culture and ethnicity and above all Punjabiyat. There is nothing wrong if two real brothers after growing up build their own houses and live separately with their respective families and also take care of each other in good and bad times.

There are so many Pakistani artists who are contributing to Bollywood.

  • lol insecure people protesting here...

  • why peoples not enjoy the music always trying to fight one another, please its a nice piece of music given by Madam Noor Jahan. Jut chill

  • fantastic

  • This is not a Pakistani song. This is before India Independece . Nurjehan was trained in India and have the most beautiful Voice at that time. She went to Pakistan after partition. None of her song after pakistan ever got name in India . All her songs were popular in Pakistan. But India she is only remembred the songs she sang before India partition

  • @Krajput559 Wrong, songs from "Dupatta (1952)" and other urdu films from the 50s/60s made it big, one of the songs was even featured in an indian film with Rajesh Khanna.... song is "kuch bhi na kaha aur keh bhi gaye"..... her Punjabi songs are just as popular in Indian Punjab as they were in Pakistan.... plz back ur statements up with facts

  • @Krajput559 when Noor Jehan went back to India in 1982 and sang her post-partition songs (i.e. the ones she recorded in Pakistan), ppl cheered and obviously were familiar with the songs, so how can u say that her pakistani songs never got a name in india

  • THIS IS AN INDIAN MOVIE AND INDIAN SONG SUNG BY INDIAN ARTIST. WHEN THIS MOVIE WAS MADE PAKISTAN DID NOT EXIST.

  • How can it be a Pakistani song? Pakistan didn't even exist when the song was sung and filmed. Just because the singer later migrated to Pakistan, it doesn't become a Pakistani song.

  • @umok6 yeh i know the title is wrong.... the song was released in 1946 british india

  • Comment removed

  • @26121944 and what's this crap about the singers getting training in british india... legends like nusrat fateh ali khan were born after the partition, guys like Shafqat and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan didn't get training in India... ur so stupid...... it's ppl like u that ruin the image of ur country... get over urself u stuck up idiot

  • @26121944 wow, u really need a kick up the ass coz u don't know wtf ur talking about.... rich cultural heritage?! if it weren't for Muslims u ppl wouldn't have the Taj Mahal... u wouldn't have the Qawwali which was developed by Hazrat Amir Khusro (r.a.) who happened to be a Muslim; Hindustani classical music was nurtured by both Muslim and Hindu musicians... so dnt sit there telling me about how medieval Pakistan is coz of its religion coz clearly u have no idea what ur talking about...

  • yes you have a very progressive lif style for burning the widows(satti) burning brides for less dowry for drinking urine of cow instead of milk for worshiping anything weird and inaccessable for drinking the milk left by rats and..and..and..you name any superstition and you have it - having more then 200 flute playing and flirting gods and godesses instead of ONE POWERFUL GOD with all highest of highest qualities to run the world alone and not allowing the monkeys and cobras and hand made idols

  • @ghulamparvez : hahahhahahha u mak me laugh hahahahah

  • @ghulamparvez One of the best reply everseen

  • @ghulamparvez One of the best replies ever seen

  • I am a Pakistani by birth but American by choice, Indian by race. I enjoy Hindi or Urdu and country western music. Moreover, Nations are not founded because of religion but by common language, music, and traditions. There are only two countries which were founded based on religion: Israel and Pakistan, both are failure..........

  • @Saigalbakhat123 - Well said, my friend! I wish Pakistan is a success because I don't feel they are any different from us Indians - its politicians and fanatics that keep us apart.

  • wah kia song hay beautifullllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll.

  • 60 years have gone by, still at 78, I hear, enjoy this beautiful, melodious song by Noor JEHAN. There is no parellel for her!!!!! venu

  • Pakistan is a country with it's own Islamic culture. This song is sung by Madam Noor Jehan and is in Urdu language. Urdu is used in Pakistan beside other Pakistani Languages.

  • Kash yeh batwara hi na hota aur hamari dono mulk ek rahe aur taraqui karen Lekin chang netavon ke chaal hi yeh batwara kiya. Lekin aaj bhi dono desh ke ek hi culture hai aur log bhi chahte ki ham ek mulk bankar rahe.

  • @Transsiva

Ek mulk na bhi bane lekin aapas me dushmani ki jagah dosti bani rahe yah bahut zaroori hai.

May God give good senses to us all.

  • @jalzala Lollllllllllllllllllllll Stop we don't need Friendship ,Dosti Ki Bat Kartey hain aur Piche Sey Goli Chlatey hain Saley Darpok Namurd Kahi key,Aisey Dosti sey Dushmani hi Achee hai.Kum sey Kum yeh tho pata hotya ahi Key samney wala Dosti ke add mey Dohka to nahe Kargey ,Sumbhal key rakho yeh Nshiyat apne Porki Bahiyon key liye es ki Hume Zarurat nahe hai..Etna hi Dard ata hai tho jau Pak ki Immigration Aply karo,There is Emotional feelngs for such Bloody Piggy race over the world.

  • @jeet027

  • Anjame muhabbat hame maloom hai lekin.......(And anjame ladai bhi maloom hai lekin phir bhi ham ladte hain

Noorjehan, is a genius and natural singer....Her songs are immortal and are beyond boundaries..........

  • @kvivekanandan NO, she born in Kasur which is now in Pakistan, she has been live in Pakistan, she is Pakistani

  • This is British India Song ,But Noor jahan is really a great singer..Thank U 4 Uploadind dis video

  • @nayanjoshi0810 You have at least respected the history. Great.

  • @nayanjoshi0810 What is this "British India"" It was, is and will always remain Hindustan. Stop your narrow and sectarian mind set. Neither you, nor any one can put the cloak back or deny history.

  • @TheVeekay it was and still is Hindustan but during the time of british rule it was called british india so that's how ppl are referring to it.... basically they're saying that it was released at the time when india was under british rule... .chill out man y r u getting so worked up over such a minor issue.... we know it's called hindustan / bharat .... it always has been and always will be, get over it already

  • @TheVeekay maybe a better term for it would be "pre-partition india"... that's how i refer to it... i don't like to use the term british to be honest, i know what u mean though, dnt worry

  • hay kon jo bigri hoi taqdeer bsanwaray uffffffffffffffffffffffffff

  • This Is An Indian Song But Singer And Act By Noor Jahan Before Partition Pakistan It Is Also An Indian And Pakistani Song . I Proud On India And Pakistan Both Are Great Countries .

    Regards

  • @sajjad1950 Yes you may be proud on India with its rich cultural heritage, science and technology.

Pakistan could not be developed because they have chosen a medieval lifstyel founded on their scriptures.

This the difference between Pakistan and India.

And about singers: -all of them got training in British India. Music what is given to the hindustani culture by their goddes SARASWATI.

  • @sajjad1950 Well Both Countries Claim on the Movies Its Normal I Guess as Its A Master Piece of its own one of the kind Childhood Love Rich & Poor Well It all started from here :) Love the Concept but It doesn't exist any more anyway But the words are nice Come Come My Destroyed Love's Strength very Unique words I Love it & Noor Jehan was such a Beauty Queen no wonder we call her Melody Queen she was a Real Queen
