  • i really enjoyed your labor and delivery story, i am due in March and am starting to get anxious :/ I would like to ask you which organization you donated your babies cord blood to. i think its terrible that they just throw it away when it potentially can save someones life.

  • This is was really interesting as it was so different from most of the others I see. You gave good information for particularly a first delivery. You are very brave!

  • awe she is so adorable!!!!!!!!!!!i subscribed,i hope you can subscribe back, thanks!

  • How come you could not get an epidural?

  • @ashmazhar08 I have a spinal fusion due to scoliosis.

  • It took me about 3 hours of pushing :)

You baby is so cute; how old is she at the time of this video?

  • @07kimly Oh wow, 3 hours is a loooong time! And thank you, she's a month old here! =]

  • Your baby is sooo cute!

  • @Atiragramj Awww, thank you!

  • @mrstbraid I just gave birth naturally after being induced aswell :)

  • I can't tell you how much this video helped me. I'm supposed to be induced in a couple of days. My cervix is not ripened so they have to give me the Cervidil too and I have to go in a night before. My whole pregnancy, i've dreamed of having a natural, drug free labor, so it was hard for me to accept that I'm going to be induced. But watching you has inpsired me to keep positive and I know I can do it without the epidural. Thank you so much!

  • @NaturallyAlive I dreamed of a natural, drug-free labor as well, but sometimes things don't happen that way! It is totally possible without an epidural, but the induced contractions are intense. I won't sugar coat it. Good Luck with you L&D! Do whatever you need to do to get the baby here safe and sound! =]

  • beautiful video ;p congradulations

  • @bonnieetom Thank you so much!

  • how do they stich a tear on the inside? does it hurt at all!

  • @hannah5117 They sew it up. And no it didn't, they numb you before the stitch it up.

  • After you have your baby but are still in the hospital do you have to get up with her at night?

  • @SillyMando2008 If the baby is rooming with you, then yes. But if you need help, the nurses are always there!

  • @nkr1695 Thank you so much!

  • you did amazing!!!! So happy for you and Spencer. Your baby girl is perfect!

  • @LivestrongH2 Thank you Heather!

  • Great L&D story. When you talk about how it feels to push, i feel exactly the same. To push is the best part and the best feeling when you labour naturally - just amazing and i'm sure you will never forget it.

  • @LouLou230705 I will definitely never forget it! Best experience ever! Thank you!

  • Oh i didn't think you did! You look like a great mom

  • @skylerdoodle1 Thank you!

  • Did u cut ur hair????

  • @skylerdoodle1 No, I just have it behind my back. Emmry loves to pull it lol.

  • Cute necklace!! You look so beautiful, so does your little girl :-)That's awesome you got to get in the shower and had the option of walking the halls. I didn't have any of those options. I took a shower at home while I did some of my labor at home, it helped SO much with contractions. Great story :-) God bless

  • @Lovesenduringpromise Thank you! I'm so happy I got in the shower too! I was planning on mainly laboring in a birthing tub, but because of the induction I wasn't allowed to. So the shower was a nice second option, even if it was only for 40 minutes. =]

  • this was such an adorable story! i cannot wait to be a mommy myself, you are such a good mommy (and your husband!)

  • @twistedheartsx Thank you!

  • thanks so much for sharing, i'm so proud of you! you did awesome and i'm so happy to hear that everything went so well for you. :) emmry IS beautiful!

  • @splinterofh0pe Thank you Vanessa! Everything went so smooth! Can't wait to hear you L&D story! You're not too far away now! YAY!

  • You are looking so great, and it sounds like you had an amazing L&D!

  • @TheKiwiMummy Thank you Ashlea! You're so sweet! It was truly amazing, I couldn't have asked for anything more!

  • I don't know how you waited to push. I couldn't have done that! I pushed for nearly 2.5 hours and was exhausted. I was also ripping apart internally so I was going to take a break through some contractions. Ha ha - it ended up being WAY harder not to push, so I pushed every time. You did so good! Yay for a happy L&D story!! :)

  • @laurettabear It was hard, believe me! I pushed for about 30 minutes, and pushed with every contraction, I just didn't push when I didn't have a contraction. Thank you!!!

  • beautiful labor story! I also has a natural birth, but a horror story of a delivery unfort. with a posterior cervix. I had 2nd and 3rd degree tear and felt every second of it. My labor was mostly spent in the comforts of my home til 8 cm and then I went to the hospital and delivered. I love the mommy neckclace and recognize your mommy sway, I am doing that everywhere I go now, its so second nature.

  • @twainslureca Thank you! Getting checked with a posterior cervix sucked so bad lol. Love Mommy Necklaces! And to be honest, I didn't even realize I was swaying until I watched this video back while editing lol. It really is second nature!

  • Sorry i left a paragraph for a comment lol!!! xoxox

  • @SantanasMom1 It's okay lol.

  • Awe I'm so happy you had a smooth labor!!! Thats great you didnt tear. I unfortunately had one of the horror stories you here about. I also had a posterior cervix and when the checked me it was probably the most painful thing, it brough me to tears. I was in labor for 2 days- 40 hours and after pushing for 3 my son had to be vacuumed out w/ 20+ stitches. I wish that pain on no woman!! I was also drug free. Again, Congrats!!

  • @SantanasMom1 Thank you! The posterior cervix sucks! You're a trooper!

  • I am so jealous of your L&D lol my L&D with Savannah was not good at all it was very scary!

  • @Sexyhexymama Oh no! Did you do a L&D Story?

  • @mrstbraid No i still needa do one LOL its been 11 weeks & 2 days since i had her i really needa get a move on it lmao i should make it now everyone is still asleep so maybe i will make one =p keep an eye out for it huni!

  • She is such a good baby :)

  • @USNwifey She really is! We're very blessed!

  • You should do a postpartum belly shot!!

  • @pnkshp5 I will in my postpartum update.

  • Sounds like a great L&D hun :)

  • @AussieMummySince07 Thank you! I think it went as smooth as it could with being induced and all. I'm grateful, considering I was terrified to be induced.

  • awwwww!

  • @imayummygirl Thank you lol. =]

  • @brittanykay22109 Thanks Brittany!! =]

  • @TheSarahelise94 I know, boo. If I didn't have weird comments throughout my pregnancy, I probably would. =[

  • @TheTurnersJourney Thank you so much! Love my mommy necklaces!!! =]

  • Your daughter is beautiful! And what is the burning sensation? Was that tearing?

  • @layc21 Thank you! The burning sensation was more than likely from stretching.

  • You look great and Emmery is so precious =)

It's great to see you and baba looking so well x

  • @billnme Thank you so much!

  • Ah! You made me cry!! I hope and pray that I can have a VBAC with my second so I can experience that!!

  • @armeadors Allison, you're too sweet! Thank you so much! I couldn't have asked for anything better, it was such an awesome experience!

  • Seems like you had a great delivery. I'm also interested in more about donating cord blood to pass that info onto my daughter. Do they bring that up to every mother that goes into labor or do you have to mention it? Also how did juno adjust with the new baby? Hugs

  • @reneelynn1965 Definitely did! I don't know if every hospital does the cord blood donation. I'll look into it! Juno adjusted well, she loves her baby!!! =]

  • It sounds like you had a amazing birth. I had my daughter with out the dr and i was not pushing she came out all on her own so I know the feeling of your body doing everything out on its own my dr came right in when the nurse was wrapping her up in a blanket

  • @jamiiandseth It was definitely amazing! Crazy that you had your without the doctor. I was so sure that it was going to happen to me too.

  • My eyes were rocking with you and are now spinning :) Emmery is so adorable! Singing Justin Bieber's baby, too funny!

  • @Purrrsuasive1 Lol, sorry about the rocking, I noticed that too! Thank you so much! =]

  • Thank you so much for sharing your story!

Lots of love to you and your beautiful little family :)

    Annie from Germany

  • @AennieKay No problem! Thank you so much! =]

  • I have heard about cord blood banking but not donating. That is interesting. Can you give us more info on that?

  • @mstone1605 I could do that. I didn't know about it either until we were admitted into the hospital.
