Oooh that cleanance gel irritated my skin, I think it was the fragrance. I use it to clean my brushes instead. Hope you get to the good clarisonic part soon! Do you feel the difference in your skin texture already? I've stopped using benzoyl peroxide treatments now because of it, so glad I got it.
@libertyparker i'm still not at the good clarisonic part! :( really hope it works out because it was expensive :( i do feel the difference in skin texture though. definitely smoother. i just wish the acne would go away!
@shampoop118 Honestly honey stick in there. I found the effects pretty gradual and without realising my skin started to clear, not miracles but so much improvement. If I don't use it for a couple of days my cystic acne comes back and I think 'why did I get lazy and not use it!' I'm sure it'll start to kick in for you. I found dermalogica ultracalming cleanser to work best for my skin, you only need a very gentle cleanser with it. Good luck, hang in there!!! :) xx

as many girls with oily skin I'm adicted to acid peelings. for the last tree years i use Chinese one - Yoya's Deep cutin removing gel-cream with hyaluronic acid, amino acids, seaweed extract, etc.
peeling is a step #1 to stop problems for me. i use it once a week in winter and once a month in summer. but we haven't very active sun here...
@shampoop118 nice to hear from you) as for the peel it makes skin smooth and renewed, even colored. and it stops acne because there are no more little parts of die off skin, no base for inflamation. one day after peeling skin may seem a bit oily and i do caolin mask to balance it. i have a kind of "thick" skin with fast growing epidermis so peels work better then anything.

@shampoop118 Hey :) thanks for replying, yeah the clarisonic is finally starting to work, for weeks i thought it wasnt but i've stuck with it, and I'm finally seeing a difference to my skin. I've been using the elemis freshskin peachy perfect gentle face wash and that seems to be working so far. I'd recommend it if your looking for something new x

I have the Clarisonic as well but for some reason my skin didn't react to it, call it lucky hehe and it has honestly done wonders! it really cleared my pores, so now, apart from the hormonal breakouts, my skin's glowing all the time! and scars heal so much quicker too (:
the la roche posy effacer line is amazing as well, i use K and M and it really helps with clogged pores and mattifying the skin (: but i don't have dry patches so i dunno how you'd react to it
