I always released any turtles I accidentally caught while angling for choupique (bowfin: amia calva) and catfish. In Abbeville there are sailfin mollies, mosquitofish, myriad juvenile fish species, and even blue crabs and mullets in Young's and other coulees. Great work, Nemastoma.
