Hey. I have a drum that is loose and cold. The beats sound a little off. Have any tips? I found a tip saying to put it in the sun for 2 days. If it works, I have a question. If you put it out for 2 days, do you leave it overnight, or, leave it in the sun then bring it back in and bring it back out tommorow. Reply back. PLEASE.

you can use a hair-dryer and blow dry it on hot under the drum.

Or just leave it in the sun for a while.

@jeffhardy629 The way we do it is you light a small fire with newspapers under the drum. With it barely touching the ground. The heat reaches the top skin of the drum and loosens the skin to a deeper tone

i notice. kaiwingwong. lion dance is a tradition and entertainment. throwing sticks while playing is a skill he has and is a way to also entertain audience
